Chapter 11
Niall flew happily in circles around the castle before finally flying inside Louis' bedroom. "Louis! Louis!" Niall cheered, landing on top of Louis' sheets, "I just heard the news. Congratulations, kiddo, we did it!" Niall shook hands with Louis, who looked at him, dazedly.
Zayn yawned from his position on Louis' pillow, "What is this idiot babbling about?"
"Like you didn't know!" Niall laughed, nudging Zayn. "The whole town's buzzing about how the prince is getting hitched this afternoon!" Niall smiled, looking back and forth from Zayn to Louis, both of which were wearing a confused look on their faces.
"You know," Niall explained, "He's getting married? I just wanted to wish you luck before the ceremony," Niall patted Louis on the head, before waddling back to the window, "Catch you later!"
Louis scrunched his eyebrows for a moment before his eyes grew wide. He leaped out of bed, before picking up Zayn and spinning him around and kissing him softly on the head. He placed his friend down and ran to the mirror. He fluffed his hair, smiling widely at himself, before rushing out of the room with Zayn following close behind.
Louis hurried down the steps, and froze. He quickly hid himself behind a pillar, silently watching as Nick spoke to Harry, who had his arm linked with a brunette girl.
"My, Harry," Nick shrugged, "I'm afraid I was mistaken. This mystery person does in fact exist. And she is lovely. Congratulations, my dear. And you said your name was Eleanor, correct?"
The young women nodded, smiling.
"We wish to be married as soon as possible, Nick," Harry ordered. Louis hid behind the pillar, unable to watch any longer.
"Well, Harry," Louis could hear Nick trying to reason, "these things do take time-"
"This afternoon, Nick," Harry pressed on, "Wedding ship departs at sunset."
"Um, very well. As you wish, sir," Nick obeyed, a bit disappointed of the fact that Louis was never given a chance. Louis' face crumbled, as tears began to fall from his face. He rushed back up the stairs, covering his face, while Zayn tried to keep up with him. Eleanor noticed Louis only seconds before he disappeared into the hallway. She smirked, looking down at the seashell around her neck.

Louis watched from the royal port as the wedding ship made its departure. Nick had invited him to come, but Louis kindly rejected the offer. Nick didn't need more than one decline.
Louis rested his back against a pole, watching helplessly as his prince, his love, his everything, sailed away, about to marry his dream girl. Louis bent his knees and rested his elbows against them as he sobbed into his hands. Zayn stood at his feet, rubbing his leg comfortingly, while Liam looked up at him sadly from the water below.

Niall cheerfully hummed the wedding march as he flew near the wedding ship. Suddenly, he heard something that made him almost freeze. He flew near one of the windows and heard Louis singing. But Louis hadn't kissed the prince yet, so how could his voice have returned? He poked his head through the window and noticed it definitely wasn't Louis singing. A brunette girl pranced around the room, laughing and singing, "What a lovely little bride I'll make. My dear, I'll look divine! Things are working out according to my ultimate design." She smirked as she removed a pin from her hair. She flicked her wrist with ease and the pin struck the mirror, causing it to crack. Niall gulped as the girl stalked over to the broken mirror and stood on top of her chair, "Soon I'll have that little merman and the ocean will be mine!"
As she cackled devilishly, she pulled down the mirror, and Niall gasped. Instead of the brunette's reflection, she was staring into the face of Taylor.
"The sea witch!" Niall gasped, "Oh no, she's gonna- I've gotta-" Niall shook his head, before he flew as fast as he could.

"Louis!" Niall shouted, causing the boy to look up at him. "Louis, I was flying- Well, of course I was flying- And I saw the- the watch- The witch was watching the mirror!" Louis shook his head, confused at what he was trying to tell him.
"And she was singing with a stolen set of pipes!" Niall explained, before picking up Zayn and yelling in his face, "DO YOU HEAR WHAT I'M TELLING YOU?! The prince is marrying the sea witch in disguise!"
Louis' eyes grew wide in realization. Zayn rubbed his head, "Are you sure about this?"
"Have I ever been wrong," Niall asked, then added after a moment's pause, "I mean, when it's important?"
"What are we going to do?" Liam asked. Louis watched as the boat grew further and further away. Taylor's voice echoed in Louis' mind, "Before the sun sets on the third day."
Louis had no choice. He tore off his shirt before he dove into the water and came up gasping for air. Zayn looked around and quickly snipped the ropes that were holding hollow barrels.
"Louis!" Zayn shouted, "Grab onto that! Liam! Get him to that boat as fast as your fins can carry you!"
Liam nodded, determinedly, "I'll try!"
"I have to get to the sea king," Zayn concluded, "He must know about this."
"What about me? What about me?" Niall asked.
"You!" Zayn pointed his claw, "Find a way to stall that wedding!"
"Stall the wedding," Niall repeated, "W-What am I- What? That's it!"
