Chapter 13

"Poor little prince," Taylor sneered, dragging Louis farther down, "It's not you I'm after. I've a much bigger fish to-"

"Taylor, stop!" King Triton commanded, pointing his trident at her chest. Zayn stood near the king's tail, glaring up at the witch.

"Why, King Triton!" Taylor acted delightfully surprised, "How are you?"

"Let him go!" the king commanded.

"Not a chance, Triton, he's mine," Taylor dropped the innocent act, and released Louis, only to have Loki and Hatchi wrap themselves around him and hold him tight. Taylor smirked as she snapped her fingers. The golden scroll Louis had signed days before appeared in Taylor's hand.

"We had a deal," Taylor sneered, unrolling the scroll as proof.

"Daddy, I'm sorry!" Louis cried, as he struggled to free himself from the eels' grip, "I didn't mean to. I-"

Triton suddenly blasted the scroll with his trident, pushing Taylor backwards. Taylor laughed wickedly, as she held up the unharmed scroll, "You see! The contract's legal, binding, and completely unbreakable, even for you!"

King Triton's eyes grew wide as he looked down at his trident in fear.

"Of course," Taylor trailed off, "I always was a girl with an eye for a bargain. The only son of the great sea king is a precious jewel." She flicked her fingers and magic slowly began to swirl around Louis, who was instantly released by the eels.

"NO!" The sea king shouted, as his only son began to wither away. Louis stared at his father with fear in his eyes.

"But," Taylor halted the king before he could make a move, "I might be willing to make an exchange for someone even better."

"Harry, what are you doing?!" Nick shouted from the wedding ship. Harry had torn off his suit jacket and was currently rowing a life boat into the ocean.

"I lost him once, Nick," Harry replied, "I'm not gonna lose him again."

"Now, do we have a deal?" Taylor smirked, holding up the contract. King Triton took one look at his poor, frailing son and sighed. He closed his eyes tightly as he pointed his trident at the scroll. With a blast of light, Louis' signature was replaced by his own.

"Aha! It's done then!" Taylor cackled. Louis gasped as he was suddenly restored to his normal, merman health, while Taylor's glowing magic began to swirl around the king.

"NO!" Louis cried.

Up above, Harry could see a glowing light from underwater. He stood up, harpoon shooter in hand, and prepared to dive.

The magic suddenly vanished and the spot where the king had been was replaced by a wrinkled creature surrounded by the king's trident and crown. Zayn's lip quivered, "Your Majesty?"

Louis crouched down, looking fearfully at his father, "Daddy?"

Taylor chuckled, picking up the crown and placing it on top of her head, "At last, it's mine." One of her tentacles handed her the trident as she laughed in triumph.

Louis looked up at the witch from his bent position, hatred flaming in his eyes, "You. You monster!" Louis lunged at the witch, jumping on her back. Taylor threw him over her shoulder and pointed the trident at his chest, "Don't fool with me, you little brat! Contract or no, I'll-"

She was cut off by her own scream as a harpoon skimmed her arm, leaving a deep gash. Taylor turned around and sneered at Prince Harry.

"You fool," Taylor huffed, holding Louis down with her tentacles.

"Harry, look out!" Louis cried, wrestling with the tentacles.

"After him!" Taylor ordered her eels. Loki and Hatchi swam after Harry, who swam back up to the surface. He only had time to take a breath before the two eels pulled him back down and began to wrapped themselves around his entire body.

Liam and Zayn quickly swam to the rescue. Zayn clamped his claw down on Hatchi's tail, while Liam slapped Loki in the face with his tail fin. The eels quickly released the prince, who began to swim back up to the surface.

"Say goodbye to your sweetheart," Taylor teased Louis, aiming the trident at Harry. Louis finally freed himself of Taylor's tentacles and quickly pulled her hair back. Taylor yelled out in pain as her body jerked back. The trident's blast missed Harry and zapped Hatchi and Loki.

"Babies!" Taylor cried, as bits of the eels sunk into her hands, "My poor little poopsies!"

Taylor growled, watching Louis swim up after Harry. Dark smoke began to circle around Taylor, causing Zayn and Liam took quickly take cover. (A/N I know smoke can't appear underwater, but bear with me, it's in the movie).

"Harry!" Louis called as his head emerged from underwater. Harry quickly swam towards Louis holding him as close as he could.

"Harry, you need to get away from here," Louis pleaded.

"No," Harry protested, "I won't leave you!" Suddenly, the ocean began to rumble around them. They looked around worriedly as a large, golden spike suddenly separated the two of them. They held on tightly as they were lifted into the air, soon realizing that it was Triton's crown that Taylor was wearing on her head. Taylor laughed maniacally as her giant self emerged from the ocean. Harry tapped Louis' hand, and the merman nodded, knowingly. The two jumped back into the water, quickly emerging and staring in shock. Harry pulled Louis close to him, holding on tightly to his boy.

"You pitiful, insignificant fools!" Taylor bellowed, as her tentacles began to emerge.

"Look out!" Harry warned, pulling Louis away as one of Taylor's tentacles landed dangerously close.

"Now I am the ruler of all the ocean!" Taylor shouted, waving the trident around and causing heavy rain clouds to form.

"The waves obey my every whim!" She demonstrated by creating a wave in between Harry and Louis. Harry tried to swim as Louis called after him, but before he knew it, the wave had picked him up and threw him farther away.

"The sea now bows down to my power!" Taylor began to stir the water with her trident, effectively and unfortunately creating a whirlpool. Louis tried to swim away, but it was no use. The water pushed him against a rock, and the merman held on with all his might. The whirlpool was so forceful, it pushed up a sunken ship that was at the bottom of the ocean. Louis watched worriedly as the ship sailed past him and close to Harry. Louis held his breath as Harry suddenly dove underwater to avoid getting hit. As he swam underwater, Harry's hands gripped onto some rope that was tied to the ship. He quickly began to climb up the rope, and onto the deck.

Taylor turned, noticing how Louis was clinging to the rock. She quickly blasted the rock, causing Louis to fall into the middle of the whirlpool and land at the very bottom.

As soon as Harry climbed over the railing, he began to run to the wheel. But the waves were constantly wiping him out, knocking him down.

Louis sat up, groaning in pain and looking up at Taylor. Taylor aimed the trident at Louis, giving him only a split second to dodge her blasts.

Harry finally made it to the wheel of the ship, quickly steering it in Taylor's direction. The front of the ship had been damaged and now had a sharp pointed tip at the front. Taylor was so distracted trying to kill Louis that she didn't even notice Harry approaching.

"So much for true love!" Taylor screamed, lifting the trident. Harry quickly jerked the wheel, aiming the ship for Taylor's middle. Taylor noticed Harry a moment too late. Harry dove back into the water just as the ship pierced Taylor's stomach. Taylor screamed in pain, groaning and collapsing on top of the ship as it sunk back down to the bottom of the ocean.

Harry made it back to the beach just before his body collapsed onto the sand.

Let's see how long I'll last before I break and post the final chapter. Only one left after this and I can't believe it. I've edited it and changed it a bit to make it more my style but it's mostly similar to the movie. I've just filled in some of the cracks.
