If you are making a character from the Midwest, they must say ope, sorry, and be very hospitable.

They bump into someone? They say ope, usually followed by a sorry.

They bump into an object? The same thing.

They make a mistake? Ope.

They're being chased by a serial killer in their home? They need to offer them food. Everyone in the Midwest offers food when you come to their home.

If they are going through a door, they must hold it open for everyone. The number of people coming doesn't matter. How far away from the door the people are does not matter.
They are from the Midwest. They can stand there with that door open for days.

It's fûcking pop bitches. Don't have you're character say soda. If they are from the southern Midwest, they say coke. Even if it's a Pepsi.

Cornhole is legitimately something for them to be excited for.

Even if they aren't, they will always be going to the Friday night game, if asked.

The actual portion sizes of the good pyramid don't matter, they just need to eat what's on it.

A pet chicken is more than acceptable, it's normal.

Their pet deer made them the coolest person in elementary school.

They probably took a tractor to prom, or know someone who did.

Just some simple tips.
