Chapter 1: Welcome To Charming

Jennifer's Pov

I took in a breath. It's been six years, there's no way they even will recognize me. I gathered the courage to pull into the Clubhouse lot. The place I spent most of my childhood.  I parked in my old spot.  I got a lot of weird looks as I got off my bike.  No one could see who it was through my shades. It didn't help that I was covered head to toe in tattoos and no one had seen me for six years.  I watched as Jax started storming over to me. This would be interesting, to say the least. I definitely hit a nerve without trying.

"Bitch you can't fucking park there! Now get the hell outta here before I remove you

"Bitch you can't fucking park there! Now get the hell outta here before I remove you." He said getting in my face.

"One I don't see a damn sign or a car there so it looks to me like the spots open. Two I'm not a female dog and three I'm here to speak with someone." I said making up a lie. I had spray-painted my name on the spot when I was sixteen. You could see it but the lime green and purple paint were faded.

"Are you just that fucking ignorant and blind that you can't see the damn spray paint?" He yelled clearly not in a good mood.

"No that's just the.." I stopped talking when I heard the familiar sound of a pistol hammer being cocked. I had turned around to get my dog tags from the handlebars of my bike. My shirt must have ridden up causing him to see my own gun. I gripped the dog tags tightly and raised my hands as Tig came over to us with his gun raised as well.

"Who the hell are you?" He yelled going around and grabbing my gun from my belt.

"I was trying to tell you when you decided it be necessary to hold me at gunpoint," I said with loads of sass in my tone. I glared at him through my shades.

"Dollface he isn't playin around just tell him who ya are so we can go on with our day. No need for blood to be spilt." Tig said trying to get me to spill in my identity.

"As I was saying, its on the dog tags. There is no need for gunplay guys. I'm a friend." I said throwing the tags at Tig. They hit him in the face before hitting the pavement with a clink. He picked them up and looked at them with wide eyes. Before showing them to Jax. They both lowered their guns and I put my hands down. Jax ripped my shades off I pulled my hair out of the bun.

"Jennifer?! What the fuck were you thinking? You could've been shot!" I laughed and flipped his arm behind his back. Then took his gun and mine in one quick motion. He grunted in protest so once I made my point I let his arm go. "I could've but I wouldn't have," I said handing his gun back and placing mine back in my holster. We walked towards the clubhouse and sat at the picnic table just outside. "Where the hell have you been?" He asked looking at me in the eyes.

"I've been a Sniper in the US Army for the past six years," I said pointing to the dog tags. I didn't exactly tell them I was joining the Army.

"What the fuck J! You left here you said you were going to college in Texas." He said looking at the dog tags.  "I lied," I yelled frustratedly.

"J this says  309 kills. Is that how many people you killed over there?" He said putting his arm around me.

"That's just the ones on record Jax I've killed probably twice that," I said wincing when he gripped my shoulder.

He looked at me wide-eyed. Not just because of my statement but because I winced.  He moved over to my right side and pulled my jacket off. Revealing the blood-stained shirt and the gauze underneath. I had been shot trying to leave my ex. Jax didn't need to know that. Until now...

Before I could protest he carried me inside the clubhouse and yelled for Chibs. He laid me on the pool table and told everyone but MC members to get the hell out.  I'm rolling my eyes at this.

"Jacky boy is 'at Jennifer? What the hell happened to the young lass?" Chibs asked, his accent sounded like music to Sara's ears.

"Yes, I'm wondering what the hell happened myself," He said glaring at me as he took my jacket and tank top off so Chibs could get at my shoulder.

"Damn Dollface what the hell happened?" Tig asked.

"Well, obviously I was shot! I couldn't get the bullet out myself and I wasn't going to the hospital. So I left the damn thing there." I hissed as Chibs pour some random liquor on it to sanitize the wound before digging the bullet out.

"Who the hell shot you? You rode all the way here from Texas on your bike with a bullet in your shoulder!" Jax yelled.

"My fiance, and no I didn't I rode from our house in Tacoma," I yelled as Chibs removed the bullet. I didn't even flinch.

"When the hell did you get a fiance and why were you living in Tacoma?" Jax asked.

"Ye alright Lass? Ye didn't even move when I pulled the bullet from yer shoulder." Chibs said as he finished patching me up.

"I'm fine Chibs. Thank you for patching me up. Jax don't get mad because you aren't gonna like it when I tell.." I stopped because I saw Happy. Happy was close with my fiance but he never knew anything of what happened.

"Jen? What the hell are you doing here?" He asked with a low growl. Fuck, I'm caught.

"Happy my last name isn't Saint, It's Teller. Jax is my older brother." I said hoping he wouldn't say his name.

"Ok that explains why you're here but that doesn't explain why Chibs is stitching your shoulder shut!" He yelled getting closer when Jax put his hand on Hap's chest.

"God damn it Hap, Kozik tried to kill me!" I yelled back at him and then I looked back at Jax. Everyone got real quiet and then the door opened. Standing there glaring back at me was Kozik. If looks could kill, Kozik would be dead by the look everyone was giving him.

Happy turned and ran at Kozik. Before he could run Bobby and Tig grabbed Kozik and took him to the garage. Hap came back and sat down in front of me with Jax.

"Explain, Everything now!" Jax said clearly pissed.
