The Bad Day -Irondad and Spiderson

Tony was having a shit day. First his coffee machine broke down before he had an important meeting at 6 (it was 5 am at the time too). Next he couldn't find an open coffee shop anywhere. When he arrived at the large building the meeting was to take place, he got lost and ended up being 15 minutes late.

He had sat though the meeting not really paying attention untill there was a hand snapping in his face.

"Are you even paying attention Stark?" Mr Hester (made this up) asked Tony with a slight annoyed face.

"Yeah, you were talking about a trade with a small country to try and boost the popularity and show that your company cares for everyone." Tony said with a poker face. He can always remember what the main topic was even if he wasnt paying attention. Mr Hester reluctantly nodded and continued with the meeting.

After a few more hours (the whole meeting was 5 long boring hours according to Tony) he was able to leave (escape). Tony just wanted coffee and go to the lab to finish the upgrade he had started the night before. He pulled up to a donut shop to go get coffee when he remembered it was the day Peter would be coming over. He got out of his car to get a coffee and a donut for Peter.

When he walked in he was recognized by the single (as in the only one) worker immediately.

"Mr Stark! What can I do for you today?" the worker asked.

"Can I get one coffee, 2 glazed donuts, 3 chocolate bars, 5 maple bars, and a chocolate chip muffin please?" Tony asked the excited worker.

"Of course! Coming right up!"

The worker got the coffee machine brewing while he grabbed the donuts and muffin. He put them in a box when the coffee finished.

"Would you like a top and a stopper?"

"Yes plese."

Tony payed and tipped the worker. He even took a photo with them when they asked. Tony grabbed the donuts and coffee and got back to his car. He sighed with satisfaction when he took a sip of his coffee. He started the car and got back to the tower. He made his way to the elevator and stepped in.

"What floor boss" FRIDAY asked as the doors closed.

"To the lab FRI." Tony replied. He missed Jarvis. Jarvis was there for him for such a long time, even before he became an A.I.

He soon got to the lab and put the box of donuts on Peter's table for him when he showed up. Tony walked to his desk that he had photos and some of his most important moments on. He clicked on a file that said "J is private ". He scrolled though the videos and clicked on one.

Flashback

Tony had a hard day and was a little low on food consumption. When he didn't eat for a few days he started to get delirious.

"Hey J? Why doesn't McDonald's sell hotdogs?"

"I don't know sir. Are you hungry. Do you want a hotdog?"

"Yeah, I should eat. And you should make a letter for me to send to McDonald's to sell hotdogs." (I feel like that had to many "to"s in it)

"Will do sir."

Flashback end

Tony started tearing up. He had been so confused later when he could think correctly. But he still had the letter. It was never sent and was sitting in paper copy in his drawer. He started watching more up untill Peter shows up seeing his father figure crying while watching videos in the corner of the lab.

"Mr Stark? Aee you alright?" Peter questioned the crying man.

"Yeah, I am fine. Just sad about Jarvis again."

"Well I know what will boost your spirits again! I have a pair of emotional jumper cables! I'll boost you. Just gotta attach..." Peter said as he brought Tony in for a hug.

"Uhhh, kid? This is just a hug." Tony said uncomfortably.

Peter looked up with is innocent chocolate brown eyes and asked "Is it working?"

As Tony looked into Peter's eyes he realised how much happier he had been with the kid around. He had been sober ever since he had taken him under his wing those years back (2 years btw). He realised he was happy. Happy that he had someone that would love him no matter what happened.

Tony smiled at Peter and said "Yeah kid. I am."

"Also, I got you donuts."

"...YES!"

760 words. I gotta say that is good for me. Sorry for not updating in a while. I had no inspiration. I'll try my best to get one every other weekend at least. Comment on the request chapter or message me and I'll do almost any request.
