Chapter 11

MUST READ!!
I made two chapters because I don't know when I'll be able to make another chapter. My godson has been sick and just came back from the hospital and has a bad virus and the doctor said that we must keep a close eye on him.So I will not be writing for awhile, I just want to spend time with my godson and take care of him. I hope you guys won't be mad.

I slammed my locker shut only to come face to face to Nate who was leaning against the locker.

"Hey" he said quietly.

"Hi" I said with attitude.

"Listen Alex we have a lot to talk about-" he started.

"Damn right we do" I said loudly cutting him off.

"Alex you know I didn't mean it, you know I made a terrible mistake okay. you know me, I'm not like that. I was drunk out of my mind which was no excuse but I just want to talk things over with you." he pleaded.

"I don't know Nate.." I hesitated.

"Please Alex we can work through this okay we've worked through other fights I'm not giving up on you" he said sounding desperate.

"When do you want to talk?" I asked giving in.

"I'll meet you by your locker before lunch and we can go across the street and get some food and talk okay ?"

"Okay Nate "

"See you later" he said smiling and he leaned in to kiss me on the cheek.

In the split second he kissed me I saw Ryder walk by. I rushed a goodbye to Nate and ran after Ryder.

"Hey Ryder" I called.

He ignored me and sped up his pace.

"Fine then" I mumbled quietly to myself. I walked to my next class and saw Ryder sitting in the back. I walked over and sat in the seat next to him and began to take out my pencils.

"Do you think we're friends now or something?" he said sharply.

"Why because I sat next to you? don't flatter yourself" I retorted.

I was in a daze all throughout class until the bell rang interrupting my thought I got up quickly to leave

"Make sure to pick up your test before you leave" my annoying teacher said. I walked up to the front desk and picked up my test, it was far below failing. I sighed and pushed my way out of the class room.

I made it halfway down the hall before Ryder came up to me.

"You know I could help you study sometime" he said.

"I thought we weren't friends" I replied bluntly.

"Just thought I'd offer some help" he shrugged.

"I don't need your help" I said.

"Oh but you do if you want to pass that class."

"Fine why not, I'd actually really appreciate that I really don't want to fail that class" I replied.

"How about Friday night?" He suggested.

"Don't you have some parties to go to?" I questioned.

"No I hate parties" he said.

"Me too not a big fan really" I said.

"Okay then we will take the subway back to my place and you can help me study" I said.

" Sounds like a date" he said and we parted ways
