The Bad Boy Wants Me

Chapter 4

* Alex's POV *

The rest of the week was uneventful and dragged by painfully slow. Ryder had made it his personal mission to be a total douche bag to me every single day. Now it was saturday night and I was getting ready to go to some stupid party at Bryant's house, he lived in Central Park in a massive mansion. His parents owned some sort of company and were constantly out of town, and he never hesitated to throw a party.

My best friend Riley was picking me up. Riley had quite the personality, and with a short blonde bob and bright blue eyes and a fit body she was eye candy to the guys at our school. I purposely didn't dress up for the party because I knew every other girl there would have their ass and boobs hanging out. I pulled on a pair of tight black skinny jeans and looked around for a top. I would prefer to wear a T-shirt but Riley would disown me, so I found a tight fitting showy top and hoped it would work.

I walked through my small town house and found my aunt in the kitchen.

"Lucia, I'm going out with Riley tonight to hang out with a few friends and I'm going to sleep over her house" I informed my aunt. It was a lie but she didn't think twice.

"Okay be safe Alex" she said smiling.

"Are you going out with Mark tonight?" I asked. Her and some guy she worked with had been going out every Saturday for a month.

"Yes, so don't rely on me being home if your plans change, I don't know how late I'll be"

I was happy she was seeing someone. when she was so suddenly thrown into parenthood after my parents passed away, her boyfriend dumped her because he didn't want kids. I'd always felt bad because it was my fault she was alone.

I heard a horn beep and I slipped on my converse and my jacket. I grabbed my cellphone off the table and rushed out the door yelling goodbye to Lucia.

I swung the passenger seat of Riley's car open and slid inside.

"Jeans? really Alex you can pull off anything with those legs and you chose jeans?" Riley exclaimed.

"Shut up" I said jokingly. "I wore a top that basically throws my boobs at people, you'll be proud when you see it." I added.

"Thank God" she sighed. "Hey so you're staying over at Nate's house right?"

"Yeah we are just going to walk back to his place after and crash there." his house was only a block away from Bryant's.

The rest of the car ride consisted of Riley arguing with me about my outfit. We finally arrived at Bryant's house and I realized I'd rather be anywhere but there.
