The Bad Boy Wants Me

Chapter 5

• Ryder's POV •

"Nate just fucking leave me alone" I heard the familiar voice tell from outside my window, waking me up. I jumped out of my bed and walked over and opened my window. Outside I saw Nate who was clearly piss drunk, and Alex was standing in the middle of the street. It was too dark to tell much more but I could see Alex was in a top with no coat and It was freezing out. What the hell was she doing?

"Babe, I'm sorryyy" Nate slurred stumbling towards her and grabbing her arm.

"Get off and fuck off" she yelled at him, her voice was shaking.

He grabbed her other arm and brought her to him. In a matter of seconds I was down the stairs and out my front door.

"I didn't mean to hit you it was an accident I wasn't aiming at you." he barley got the words out in his drunken state.

I walked over throwing my arm back and swinging it forward with every ounce of strength I had. my fist hit him right in his eye and he fell over. I heard Alex yell stop but I didn't care. I was on top of him and I punched him again in the stomach. Alex grabbed my arm and tugged.

"Ryder stop, I don't want you to get hurt" she said.

Her words surprised me as I looked up at her ruined face black streaks ran down her cheeks and she had a split lip. Her eyes were tired and she looked freezing cold. While I wasn't paying attention. Bryant took a swing at me and hit my mouth, busting my lip like Alex's. I proceeded to wail on his jaw and punched his gut again as hard as I could. Alex grabbed my arm with both I her arms and pulled me as hard as she could.

"Ryder please" she begged, her voice cracking.

I got off him and pulled her with me towards my house, leaving Nate who crawled to the curb. A car pulled up and yelled at Nate to get in. It was probably Bryant. I hoped that he was drunk driving and that they could accidentally drive the car right off a cliff.

I pulled her through my front door and closed it before turning to Alex and leaning down to make eye contact with her.
