Ever since I was five I knew I was a genius. My mother had given me a black board and chalk for my birthday and told me to go nuts. I interpreted it in my own way and by the time my mom came home from the university I was about 2/4 of the way to solving one of the world's hardest math problems: P vs MP. My dad was a math and science wiz who figured out my small scribblings on my black board. My parents were to say the least shocked.

My mom and dad worked at one of the top universities in the country and were also some of the greatest minds of this century. Sadly they died when I turned 16. But soon after I was told I was smarter than both of them combined.

Because of how smart I was I went through school completely, even through college. I was 11 when I got my college degrees in math, history, science, and so on. And because I went through school so fast I never made any friends. I was picked on for being a 'freak who knew to much' as some called me. But I didn't care about them or what they were saying. I cared about pleasing my parents, getting the best required education I could even though I knew everything I learned before I learned it in school. By the time I was 12 I had a IQ of 213 and I was gradually getting smarter still.

When my parents died the kids that hated me felt sad for me and wanted to say sorry for all they did. I took their kindness the wrong way at first and hated them even more than I did when they were picking on me. I hated the fact that they wanted say sorry to me for everything they did only because my parents died. Although after some time I knew they were sorry about because they learned that what they did was wrong. They were sad because of my loss. I eventually made friends with them and we've been friends ever since. That was about three years ago.

"Hey Jessie how 'bout we go to the mall today after we both get off?" Lysa asked as she popped into my office. Lysa is my best friend out of the group plus she was the least hard on me before my family died. Lysa is a beautiful woman who is 20 years old who is in her 3rd year of college and is my COO here at Athrens Tech & Research. Screw Apple and Microsoft, my tech company is the largest and most popular company in technology in the world. Hell we even through Apple practically out of business about five months ago. Lysa had long blond hair with green-blue eyes and a nice tan. She's tall but she makes it work a little to well.

I stop typing on my computer and look at her, "I guess I just need to finish one thing before I get off." I say looking back to my laptop and continue writing a new software code.

"K. Just let me know when your done, oh and Edward is asking to talk to you. He's outside." Lysa says leaving the room and incomes Ed not two minutes later.

I finish my code and turn off my computer. As I pack up my things I begin talking to Ed, "So from what I gather what is so important you can't wait till tomorrow?" Ed looks at me with a slight frown/smile on his face. Ed is 20 like Lysa but is married and out of college for about seven months now. With dark brown and red tinted hair Ed stands at 6'6 and with the muscles of a god. I wouldn't mind being with him if he weren't married.

"Nina is pregnant." Ed says scratching his head in a nervous fit as he always does. I stop in my tracks and look at Ed with such intensity. I'm frozen as I process the information Ed gave me. I scream lightly and jump hug him. I can't believe one of my best friends is having a kid. "Look I don't want any of the others to know right now. I told you since I know you can keep a secret and because I need a bit of a raise for medical bills and stuff." Ed says with a raspy breath, I let him go and smile at him. If he needs a raise for the baby than it's no problem.

"Sure and if you guys need any help just let me know. Got it?" Ed nods and smiles. I hug him again and we both leave my office together. Lysa is at her desk when Edward and I split up and and walk over to her. She turns around and asks if I'm ready to go. I nod and we head out.

As we make it outside the building I see the local hot dog dude and smile. As we walk to the car garage I see a very handsome man walking down the street in the middle of the road. He has his head down and he's not even paying attention to the cars on the street. Not even the driver seem to know he's in the street. He looks up and sees me, I frown and move my head to try and tell him to get out of the road. He looks at me in surprise and just seems to vanish into thin air.

"You ok Jessie?" Lysa asks making me turn around from the street. I look to her and shake it off.

"Yeah I just thought I saw a cat in the road." I say and it's enough for her to not ask any more questions. As we walk away to the garage I look back to the street to see if I can find that man again. I have no luck and I just keep walking.

Ok so here's this. I hope you like it and I know I made it a little differently than the first chapter but I have a reason for it so yeah.

Oh and the words you may think I misspelled I did so on purpose for something different.
