Chapter 2

Paige POV:

"Brooookkkkeee! Lets go!" I scream up the stairs to Brooke. I look in the downstairs mirror. I twirl my curls with my finger and apply more mascara. Not a good idea Paige. Not a good idea. I will probably be crying so why apply more? Eh who cares now.

*timeskip to school*

I keep my head down as I walk through the hallways of school. Again Paige not a good idea. Not a good idea. I'm looking at my new floral boots as of course I run into Kendall Vertes the mean girl at Junior High. Kendall soon turned mean after she become the favorite at the ALDC. She would treat everyone like they had no importance and they were horrible. After that I don't know what happened because of the Kelly and Abby fight that got me suspended from the ALDC. "Hey UGLY! Watch where your going!" She shrieks and slams me up against the locker. "I wish you would kill yourself like Chloe did so you don't have to get in everybody's way!" she screams in my face. THAT'S IT. I push her back with all my might and scream in her face "You know what she didn't kill herself! She didn't want to be like this! She suffers and fights leukemia everyday! And ya know I suffer and fight everyday too knowing that my best friend is going through a horrible time right now and she might someday die! Mention her name again and I will slit your throat!" I cried. Woah... I thought to my myself. I had tears welling up in my eyes and sliding down my cheek every second. Kendall just rolled her eyes and walked away with her possy. I looked around and by now everyone was staring at me. I ran to the bathroom and locked myself in the stall and cried for what seemed like hours. I heard a knock on the stall door. I let out a sob. "Paige? It's Mackenzie." she said softly. Mackenzie was a really shy but extremely nice girl. She had light blondish brown hair that was just the right length. She had a bright, big smile that shone every time she smiled. I unlocked the stall door and she opened it. She pulled me in for a hug and squeezed softly. "Thanks." I said sniffling. "Everything's going to be alright," she said while wiping away a tear that was rolling down my cheek. "Dont worry." she said with a smile and now a tear was rolling down her cheek. "How can I not worry?" I said. "Think of the good times. Chloe will always be with you no matter what." she said "Thanks." I said and gave a shy smile.
