Jet's POV

I was walking into Starbucks trying to concentrate on a story i was writing, but of course i couldnt. Everytime i finished a chapter i wanted to email it to Kass so she could read it and then i remember.

God i needed to get used to this. I mean i couldnt do anything anymore, literraly.

Yesterday i broke a dam plate while i was washing the dishes because i was debating wether or not i should call her.

I mean it was a good thing it was summer or else i would have been flunking everything at school.

Im seriously messed up.

I ordered a caramel frappe and sat down on one of the arm chairs that were in there. I put my earbuds on high and started listening to some R5 songs.

I must have been singing it out loud cuz someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and saw a really pretty girl. She had beautiful green eyes and amazing blond waves streaked with pink.

She doesnt look as good as Kass thoe

What was wrong with me. Of course she doesnt but why did she have to pop into my head like that.

"Umm yea?" i asked.

"You're stepping on my earbuds." She said pointing to the cord stuck under my shoe. Guess she didnt notice me singing after all.

"Oh sorry about that." i said picking them up.

She laughed. "No problem."

Wow her laugh was so light. So perfectly tuned. It was nice but i was used to really loud laughs. From Kassie of course.

I smacked my head and muttered 'shit'

"Excuse me?" She asked.

"No no not to you. I- I was just remembering something sorry." I said yelling at myself inside my head for being so dumb.

"Its alright. Whats your name?" She asked with that cute light chuckle again.

"Plane. I mean Jet. Jet's my name." I said blushing for my stupidness. Seriously what was going on with me today.

"Jet. Cool, im Ashley." She replied. "Want to hang out sometime?"

"Sure." I answered, unsure what that meant.

"Cool, heres my number." She handed me a piece of paper which apparently had her number on it. "Call me."

With that she was out.

I think i might just be getting myself a date soon.

Is this right?
