Many days passed and Yeri was drifting away from you. She had been hanging out with Jungkook lately. You even saw her sitting on Jungkook's table with his friends during lunch, chatting. Well, it was more like Yeri and Jungkook were flirting with each other and the rest were just ignoring their presence.

When you asked where she was the day that you caught her hanging out with Jungkook, she replied with

"This girl name Megan invited me to the arcade. You know how much I love going there."

Haha. Such a nice save, Yeri. Not!

People around you had been talking about them a lot. Some people were confused as to why your cousin was with him. Some were hating on her for stealing their Jungkookie. Some even said that they were dating and how cute they were. The last one cracked your heart.

They can't be.

Yeri wouldn't do that, right?

But still, you continued your life with a huge smile on your face. Trying to ignore the gossips about Yeri and Jungkook that was going around.

Key word: Trying.

Every. Damn. Corner.

Yeri and Jungkook.

Yeri and Jungkook.

YERI AND JUNGKOOK.

You were going insane. She was rarely home too. Why? Because she was too busy with Jungkook. If not him, with her other friends that she became close too. Completely forgetting about you. Sometimes, she even borrowed your car to pick up her friends so you would have to walk to school. School was pretty far away. It was like a 20 minutes walk.

Sometimes, she didn't even give you a heads up that she was borrowing your car. Like when you woke up and get ready for school at 6:50, you would find out that your car was gone and your mom went to work already. So you had to take off your high heels and ran on the road to school. You got scratches on your feet now. It was definitely not a pretty sight.

The whole day, you avoided Yeri. Which means that you would have to avoid Jungkook too as she was always around him 24/7. A few of people asked you if you were okay. You were not being your normal self. You just smiled at them and said you were having a bit of a headache.

You got to school and went home with no contact or anything with Jungkook. You have to admit, you were suprised on your own. The students were worried. It was like you were giving up. You never gave up on anything. Especially on Jungkook.

You were heading to the cafeteria for lunch when you saw people were crowding somewhere. Curious, you walked there to find out what was happening. You apologised to the people you had accidentally pushed to see the middle. Right when you reached the centre, claps erupted from the students. Then, you saw what was happening.

Jungkook was kissing Yeri.

The world stopped spinning. Not in a good way. You froze there. You didn't move until people started to walk away from the scene. Some hands were on your shoulders and giving you a look of sympathy.

One guy even turned you around and escorted you away from there. He rubbed your arm.

"I'm sorry." He whispered to you. You were staring at the ground. You were holding in your tears. You didn't want to cry. No one had seen you cry and you wanted to keep that reputation.

Calming down, you looked up to the kind person. "Thank you, Jackson." He smiled at you which you smiled back. A forced one. You remembered him as a close friend of Namjoon who was a friend of Jungkook. After you were completely calmed, you said you were fine to him.

"Are you sure?" He was not convinced. You nodded.

"Yeah. Thanks again." You gave him a small hug and walked away. Not before waving at him goodbye.

How could she do this to me?

Not even a day.

Not even a day and she just took my everything.

How am I going to face her after this?

"Hey, honey. How was school today?" Your mother asked from the living room. She was watching her favourite drama at the time.

"It's okay." You said quietly. You were too tired to talk. You walked back home from school. All heartbroken and confused. You were exhausted. Yeri was nowhere in sight so at least there was something positive.

"I'll be upstairs, mom." Your mother replied with an 'okay' and you climbed the stairs. Washing up a bit, you went on your phone to get your mind off things. While you were replying to messages from worried students, an instagram notification appear on top of your phone.

JeonKook95 has shared a post. Check it out now!

You stared at it for while before lifting your shaky finger to tap on the notification. His feed filled your phone screen.

It was a picture of him and Yeri hugging.

Finally found someone. Lovely, kind and beautiful. I love you, jagi. @kimyerixoxo

It didn't get much likes because not many people approve their relationship. You didn't want to either but you have to be supportive.

Come on, (Y/N).

Continue being the happy-go-lucky girl people know you as.

Isn't not that hard.

It's easy.

Just like you always do when...

Jungkook pushes you away...

You threw your phone on your bed and rushed to the bathroom.

Don't cry.

Don't cry.

Don't cry.

You repeated the same thing on your mind but your tears didn't want to cooperate. They just kept flowing down like a waterfall. You started sobbing. You couldn't control it.

You know that feeling when you were so heartbroken that it hurts physically? Yeah, that was what (Y/N) was feeling. An aching heart.

You pulled your hand into a fist and hit your chest repeatedly. Your breathing became uneven as your tears fell from your face.

"Why does it hurt so much?"
