Jungkook froze when those words exited your mouth. He opened his mouth to say something only to close it again.

Then, you saw how his eyes turned glassy. "Say that again." He whispered.

You took a deep breath. "I... I love you, Jeon Jungkook. I've always had."

"Even after everything I've done to you?" His voice cracked a bit and he did his best to keep everything together. You smiled gently and nodded. "How?"

You shrugged. "My love for you is just too strong, I suppose."

You gave him a toothy grin and that was when he rushed to you and immediately lifted you up bridal-style. "Woah!" You yelped and quickly wrapped your arms around his neck so you wouldn't fall down.

He spun you around happily. "I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU, (Y/N) (L/N)!"

You laughed while he keep twirling you around. "Put me down, Kook! This is getting dangerous!" You said.

"But you look like you're enjoying it." He grinned his bunny smile. He stopped spinning but still held you in his arms while looking at you.

Aww.

You smiled and pinched his cheek. "You're so handsome and adorable right now that it's illegal."

He chuckled. "And you being the most wonderful girl on earth is also a crime, my love." He leaned in closer to you with a teasing smile. "I can't believe this." He looked down.

"What?" You asked as he put you on the ground again.

"I was 100% sure that I wouldn't have a chance with you in a billion years. When the boys tied to 'woo' you to see who would get you first, I just stayed back— I know you're confused about this part but I'll explain later, I promise," he quickly said when your face twisted in confusion. "Now here you are. I believe in miracles now."

"I told you way before this that I freaking love you, Jungkook. It's not easy to fall out of love. To be honest, I didn't actually thought that I would still like you but I must have fallen deep. Just forget about those moments in the past. No need to apologise anymore, you've done enough. Let's just focus on us and us only." You said to him.

"So we can start a new us? I promise I'll be the best boyfriend. The one that you wanted and maybe even better. You've changed because of me and I am willing to change for you. You deserve the best. You don't deserve any of the things that I did to you. So we are starting over. Doing it how we should have before, right?" He put his connected palms to his lips as he stared into your eyes.

You smiled and nodded. "Right." He smiled.

"God must love me so much to give me this chance. I'll be the better version of Jungkook for you. No, the best version. You need to know how much you mean to me and how deep my love goes for you." He continued speaking, some saying to himself about how he should really take care of you.

"Kookie, you are already the best version of you. You don't need to change a single thing about yourself. Just be you." You cupped his face and he leaned into the touch. He stared into your eyes lovingly before he had an idea.

"Oh- wait. I wanted to try this one thing. I hope you don't mind." He turned shy all of a sudden.

You shrugged. "I'm down with anything."

"I'm going to kiss you, alright?" He gave a heads up and you shyly nodded. He smiled again, a bit more confident.

Without wasting any second, he placed both if his hands on your waist and lifted you up until you were taller than him. You gently put your hands on his shoulders as you looked down at him. Without uttering a single word, both of you leaned it into a sweet kiss.

Both of you shared a kiss there. It was a magical moment as you were in Jungkook's arms, being in that bliss moment. You finally got what you've wanted for the last 2 years.

To be with Jungkook. For him to love you like you do. It finally happened and both of you are madly in love with one another. How glad of you that you decided to change a bit of yourself.

You were glad that he realised his mistake also. Now both of you can enjoy being in each other's embrace.
