'Beep Beep Beep', my alarm clock rang. I groaned and hid under my blanket and went back to sleep. "Perseus Jackson! Get out of bed young man, I heard the alarm rang too. It's time for school," my mom yelled from the kitchen. " Just a few more minutes please mom.," I begged from upstairs. "Whatever you want Percy, I guess Paul and I will just have to eat all of the blue pancakes ourselves since you don't want to wake up." That had done the trick, my mom just knows me too well. "I'M UP! I'M UP!" I said as I jumped out of my bed. I heard my mom laugh from downstairs as I dressed, brushed my teeth, and ran downstairs. I didn't even bother to brush my hair since it is so untamed. After eating my very delicious and very beautifully BLUE pancakes, I kissed my mom on the cheek and left for school.
