Annabeth's POV:

I gasped at who I can't believe is staring at me right now. It was Sally, Percy's mom. She was as shocked as I was right now but soon changed to a warm smile and she started to wave at me. So, of course, I waved back. She motioned her hand for me to come to her so I did. As soon as I got there, she gave me a bear hug.

"Annabeth oh my god,I haven't seen you in forever, what are you doing?" she said obviously surprise at my arrival.

"My family just  moved here across the street"

"So we're like neighbors now," she said practically screaming

"Wait you live here, across the street from my house ?"I asked

She nodded excitedly. I was so happy I could have passed out but I didn't so no need to call the ambulancepeople.

"Would you want me to get Percy?" she asked me

"NO!"

"No?" she said clearly confused

"I'm going to be attending Goode tomorrow, so I want to surprise him myself"

"Okay. But would you at least like me to tell Paul?"

"Yes please and if you don't mind I need to go and  help my family unpack  "

" Sure and come over anytime"

"Thanks, Sally"

"Bye Annabeth"

I waved goodbye and started to walk back to myself thinking that New York can't get any better.
