Chapter five

I walked on the mini stairs in front of the boys house. There house was a cream colour with really green grass. But all their flowers were dead which made me laugh.

I knocked on the door with a big smile on my face excited to see all the boys. They were my best friends and i have missed them so much. Luke opened the door, the smile on his face made me melt. I just wanted to give him a hug and tell him how much i miss him.

I just did what i wanted to do and gave with a big hug. He held me tight as well. "Hey", he said while we pulled away. "Sorry, i just really-", he cut me off. "No, no it was great. I mean its fine", i could see he was nervous.

Ashton looked up and saw me "EMILE", he said jumping on top of me. "Ashton your heavy!", i said pushing him off. "Its been so long since we were all so close and since you and Luke were dat-", he remembered how awkward it would be if anyone mentioned me and Luke's past.

Michael and Calum walked up to me and gave me a hug. "You've grown up so much you two", i said touch Michael's light pink hair. "You need to stop dying your hair buddy!", i said while pulling pieces of his hair.

"THATS WHAT I TELL HIM EVERYDAY!", Calum yelled. I smiled at him.

We all just sat down and talked about how life had been since i left. Ashton, Calum and Mikey seemed to talk a lot. But Luke just sat there quietly. I looked at him and he looked sad and gloomy. I sat next to him, he looked up and faked a smile.

"So!", Michael said with a smirk. "You had a boyfriend called Chris?. I smiled back.

"How did you find that out?", i asked confused. "Emile, paparazzi have been following you ever since you dated lu-", he stopped himself and apologised. I hated when they cut themselves on whenever they began blurting out things about me and Luke.

"Tell us more about this Chris guy", Ashton smirked. Luke got up and left the room with a very quiet sigh. He was mad and i know. I saw him in the kitchen just looking in the fridge.

"Um, when we dated he was 20...", i said seriously. "Ooooooo dating older guys hey!", Calum joked.

I rolled my eyes. "But we broke up because he used me for stupid things", i said while peeking through the lounge room to see Luke.

"Stupid things like what?", Mikey asked. "Sex, fame and money", I said with a frown. "But i don't blame him. Because honestly every guy wants that".

"Okay, that guy is a dickhead. But not every guy wants those things Emile", Luke said coming out of the kitchen. He was listening to our whole conversation.

I just looked at him with no expression and nothing to say. We all looked each other awkwardly and luke sat back down.

I walked drove all the way back home thinking about Luke. I knew he was thinking about me too i could feel it.
