Aleczander

"What is he taking so long for?" I sighed and impatiently tapped my fingers on the steering wheel. I was just about to send him another text message, when the door opened as Niki stormed out in hurry.

I had an annoyed expression when he got in the car and started apologizing. "Sorry. It's my Mom. She is still mad at me and she didn't want to let me go," he explained while he buckled up before I started the engine and drove, heading for the mall.

I was concentrating on the street when I noticed Niki pressing some buttons to turn on the radio. "What are you doing? Turn it off," I demanded though he had no intention on listening. So, I wanted to turn the blasting music off myself. That was when he reacted and tried stopping me.

We got in a little fight, even though I was still in the middle of driving. "Aleczander, come on," he insisted. I sighed and gave up. "Could it be that you hate music?" He questioned with a frown.

"Not in particular." I pressed my lips together and tried not to focus on the stupid song that was currently playing. "They just annoy me when I'm driving." It was like I couldn't really concentrate. And after what happened last time, I would rather be more cautious than getting my car keys confiscated again.

Niki chuckled and purposely raised the volume as he carefully observed my reactions with a smirk. "It is more fun like this. Trust me," he smiled when he changed the song to a familiar one. "Hey Aleczander?" He had a mischievous smile on his face. "Can you sing?"

"Don't even think about it," I snapped, causing him to let out a laugh.

"Please, it doesn't matter if you can't because I can't either," he claimed and sang the following part of the song along.

I skewed my face and really wished that I could hold my ear close. "Jesus, you're so awful," I honestly said. "So you're not perfect after all. You sound like a dying squirrel."

He stopped and pouted. "Shut up, I know that already. But you have nothing to say, I still don't know how you sound," he stubbornly crossed his arms as I cocked my eyebrow. "If you sing then, I'll dance for you," he said which made me remember. Right he mentioned that he did pole dancing.

I sighed. I really wanted to see that. Therefore, I had no choice but to sing for him even if it was really brief. But I still couldn't look at him while I did, because I could see from the corner of my eyes how he was staring.

He giggled when I finished. "This song was absolutely nothing for you," he shook his head. "Though, I really like your voice. You don't sound bad at all," he complimented and smiled.

I stopped the car. Just afterwards and got out without looking at him until I opened the door for him. "C'mon, what are you waiting for?"

"Oh we're already there?" I went ahead to the entrance as I let him catch up before I stopped and locked my car from the distance.

Once we got in, we were immediately surrounded by a lot of shops, stores and boutiques. I huffed. I really couldn't remember when I came here to willingly by clothes for myself not to mention for someone else.

"So where do you want to go first?" I looked at him and than back around. He shrugged and head to the first familiar shop that appeared to him. The first that seem to come up in his mind was to buy some pants. So he immediately looked in the section where he could find some good jeans.

He wasn't really looking for anything fancy, I suppose since he didn't took long to decide. He picked a black pair of distressed jeans which he held up and showed me. "This is fine, isn't it?"

I pursed my lips and shrugged. "We'll see when you try it on," I said. "Is that even your size?" I frowned and looked at the tag.

"I don't even know my size. Mom always bought everything for me and the clothes were definitely not from the men section. Also the sizing is a bit different, I guess," he explained. "Hey, would you look at my jeans tag for me?" He pointed at the back of his light blue washed jeans.
