Wednesday, 4AM
August always had its nice hot days, smooth, silky and relaxing, but this time not a good type of hot, through out yesterday night orange glows of fire terrorized around four hundred and fifty acres of forest and all things that lived within them, forest fires in the Kalos region have so far proved relentless, destroying everything - and everyone in its path. Masses of pokemon have fled, populating other areas, making them hopefully safer, still, this morsel does not change much.
Admits the chaos, through the families where some torn apart, stood a young Gabite scared and alone, he flinched from his painful burns which he scarred by his valiant retreat East. The Gabite's mind was constantly scrambled and fixated on his family - either lost or dead, he wish he had time or even could cry, but when he tried, nothing came out, as in times of peril it had came to thought that he had no choice but to focus on his survival. It was necessary the he had to block out the suppressing noise of all the nearby chaos, but thankfully after hours, the line of misery came to a halt.
Gabite's eyes checked every escape he could find for his mind, but they were all sealed, his emotions getting worse - screaming to get out, he had gradually let the wails of pain behind him go silent as he did his best to keep them blocked out, and now he was in front of the line, his mind several times had already blanked out, all of Gabite wanted to get out, out was all he could think of. The Gabite began to think over to himself.
'Deep breaths, deep breaths' The words scorched in the Gabite's mind, to keep him sane, as then he was about to repeat the process when his shoulder was winched with a small shove from a figure. The Gabite was impressed at the six foot renowned figure, too what anticlimactically appeared to be a tired and depleted Gardevoir, who was even surprisingly too tired to physically speak as she tried weakly, she slowly raised her aching finger and pointed at another a figure.
Small pink and white, a fairy aura fluctuating, ribbons flying, Gabite recognized the sylveon, who luckily for her, hadn't been terrorized by such flames, yet right now she was doing only OK,
'she must be among a few was a resident here' the Gabite thought as the darkness tried to infect his mind.
Time went on as the Gabite looked, she looked, the aching Gardevoir, already tired enough, pushed the Gabite as his choices narrowed, and with no words he started to kick the dirt as he limbered behind the sylveon down a dusty trail.
His steps small and his pace slow, they caught site as a shadow loomed over them, yet it wasn't a cold shadow unusually, the gabite was in notice to the shadow which lead to what looked like a small accommodation, a home, it had a wooden over hang off a few trees nearby to a cave, there wasn't much room, his eyes still traumatized stared with an odd neutral emotion as he walked past, but then for some reason his attention averted to something vastly eye catching - a beautiful green blur, such a shade of green was very hard to not notice, at least to him.
"Are you ok? Must feel rough to feel all this, oh and by the way... name's Rose, whats yours?" The Sylveon asked, who had a quite, calm voice, soothed on a smooth frequency, and seemed nice, it became clear she was here to adopt the gabite as he was only young, yet the trauma he expressed said otherwise.
"Y- yeah... its Charlie, thanks for asking... Where are my family?" Charlie was so confused to what ideas he had or even if his family were anywhere, another thing bothering him was he couldn't stop thinking about this green blur, it looked like no other shade of green he'd ever seen, Charlie so far went through what he thought he had to do and tried not to think about it, his orders screamed survival.
"O- oh... umm, I'm sorry we haven't seen them here... wow...that must feel terrible, over my twenty three years living I've never seen anything like this... hopefully some flowers will still grow" already a sad and unfortunate reply from Rose, yet Charlie undoubtedly expected this.
