Thursday, 7AM
It was a cool sunny morning as the time hit seven AM, Charlie and Stacy anxiously hoped and thought that yesterday had passed on, Stacy was trying taking her mind off things as her sun-lit eyes peered quietly and couldn't help but notice Charlie, who to her looked absolutely adorable when snoozing himself in the basking of the early golden sun, drooling slightly from his mouth, half smiling, mainly because in the not to distant future, he'll start to grow into a Garchomp, Charlie heard the word echo in his mind.
'Awww... He does look so cute like that... hard to believe he's already over yesterday...I hope...' Stacy couldn't help but tell herself , even after all he's been through he looked adorable, still yet Stacy felt worried for Charlie, she had not known what Charlie had really been through, she assumed it was bad, knowing that rarely anything good came from these fires, but Stacy wouldn't let that stop her wanting to get closer to him, she was just so curious into who he was, knowing from what occurred yesterday.
"Charlie?... are you awake?" She yipped, with her attitude trying its best to not let the past and suffering get to them, yet Stacy got a small headache thinking about it and yet she couldn't hide the past though, it is what it is.
Charlie slowly opened his eyes to the white - golden sun in the distance while letting off a small yawn, much more of a shinier hue then the fires he saw, Charlie still half sleeping and drooling had been enjoying the sun for a long time, he felt basking took his mind off things, but he wasn't captivated by the sun, but the figure in front of it, it was Stacy, who appeared to be eyeing Charlie calmly, holding her paw to her mouth, the golden - green crest hue shone off her, Charlie couldn't help not to stop noticing her charms.
"Morning sleepyhead..." Stacy laughed sadly, trying to enjoy herself as best she could, her expression was clear melancholy, as well as Charlie's, yet she eyed Charlie playfully as he let of a small yawn, just waiting to say something, it felt like the moment became kind of dire to him, he wanted to cheer Stacy up and make her feel good about herself. As he began his lively eyes grew with shyness and anxiety after drawing up things to say and finally he gathered confidence and let off a small smile.
"Good morning... you look cute in the sun..." Charlie cooed nervously, half regretting what he said, Stacy responded as she was blushed, scratching one paw across the ground as her eyes followed it with nervousness, too shy to make eye contact, although - to Charlies relief a small smile followed afterward, Charlie took it as an easy guess at this point that she was an emotional type.
"T- Thanks... you, look cute when you sleep, even more half smiling" Stacy smiled sadly but willingly as the calming shadow from her energetic tail cooled Charlie down, who adorably looked off to the side nervously with sweat, but then looked back and smiled slightly, Stacy couldn't stop thinking of how she wanted to know Charlie even more, she liked her friendships that way and knew she would want more in the future, her instincts told her to trust Charlie with that even with their minimal time.
The sun reached a typical morning height signifying a late morning, so they both picked themselves up from the lightly grazed grass and caught site at breakfast over at the accommodation, walking side by side on a sandy path up to where a lot of flowers were grown, Rose must have stayed here over night, Stacy and Charlie knew she must be here, maybe planting more.
Charlies paw hit the pathway as Stacy followed with fluttering wings, the panic from yesterday was a mere shadow of what it was today Stacy felt nervously shy next to Charlie she looked over to him while trudging on, tilting his head as a surprise to Stacy, especially when they stared with care into each others eyes, even if it was only on occasion, they both caught site of Rose who was stitching together a model Fletchling out of straw, contrasting the dark time they were in.
