1632

jisoo hated being indoors. she loved to be outside, watching the soldiers spar against one another and feeling the breeze against her hair. that's what jisoo enjoyed. which is why she had ran from her maid to enjoy some peace and quiet to herself.

"princess jisoo!" her maid shouted. looking down from the tree she had sat upon, jisoo chuckled to herself. she knew her maid would never find her. as pretty and as kind as her maid was, jisoo knew she was dumb as a rock. 'it's not like it's her fault," jisoo couldn't help but muse to herself, "her family wasn't able to afford tutors like mine had."

"princess jisoo!" her maid shouted again, running off in another direction. making sure the coast was clear, jisoo made her way down the tree and towards the direction of the garden. she loved flowers. any chance she had she would spend her time tending to the flowers.

as she was making her way towards the garden, jisoo tripped. angrily getting up, she looked to find the source that tripped her.

"you!" she shouted, "get up and kneel before me! what makes you think you can lay here for someone to trip over you!?"

the person remained silent. inspecting the person closer, jisoo widened her eyes. "yah! are you okay?"

the person turned out to be a girl who was wearing strange clothing that jisoo had never seen before. blood was trailing out of her head and was staining the grass below. jisoo wasn't a doctor or anything, but knew one thing - this person was going to have a killer headache when she woke up.

jisoo didn't know what to do. she could leave the girl here for another to find and take care of. but she was curious. a strange girl with weird clothes was laying in a pool of blood below her and she wanted to know what caused that. deciding to take the girl herself, jisoo lifted up the girl and threw her arm around her shoulder.

"i guess i'll take her to my chambers," jisoo spoke to herself. with that said, the princess turned and headed in the direction of the palace.

jennie woke up to someone relentlessly shaking her. "yah, wake up!" groggily opening her eyes she was met with the sight of a girl with long, black wavy hair and heart shaped lips.

sitting up quickly, jennie hissed at the pounding at the back of her head. the strange girl noticed jennie in pain and grabbed ahold of her arm, forcing her to lay back down.

"where am i?" jennie asked.

the girl smiled, "you're at my palace."

"i'm where?"

"my palace. don't you recognize who i am?"

jennie looked at jisoo shaking her head. "no sorry. do you know me from somewhere?"

the girl gaped at her, "you don't know who i am? i'm princess jisoo and your in my palace. my father is king kim."

jennie gave the girl a strange look before laughing, "you really think i believe that? come on, is this some kind of sick joke irene is pulling on me? okay, i'll play along. what can i do for you your highness."

frowning, jisoo crossed her arms over her chest. "well for starters you can tell me why you're wearing such strange clothing. where are you from? england? also what happened to you that caused you to bleed so much? i had to wrap your head myself because no one is allowed in my quarters aside from my maid."

"strange clothes?! these clothes are-" jennie stopped, staring at the clothing the girl was wearing, "-what a minute why are you wearing a hanbok?" looking around, jennie notice the majority of the things jisoo had in her room looked old, almost as if she was in a historical drama.

"what year is it?" jennie asked confused.

"1632. why do you ask?"

and for the second time, jennie passed out.
