"What do you see when you look at him." the police officer asks from across the metal table.
I clear my throat "I see a young man, making a living for himself and succeding. I see a trustworthly and honest man."
"Miss. How long have you known this man? " The officer asks again.
"Fifteen years." I reply stiffly.
"And in those fifteen years has he shown any signs of being a killer." he demands.
"No. Not once." I stare him straight in the eyes. "He was about human rights and saving people from this horrible life. Not being in it."
The officer nods "You are free to go."
