Chapter 1

I finished packing the rest of my clothes. I put my boxes in the car and said goodbye to my mom. I got in the car and checked my phone for any new text messages. I put my phone down beside me in the passenger seat and started the engine.

I drove for about an hour before I reached the parking lot of the apartment complex. I picked up my phone and dialed Lexie's number.

"Hey!" I said.

"Hey!" She answered.

"Can you come help me unload my stuff?" I asked.

"Sure, give me about 2-3 minutes." She replied.

"Ok, I will be waiting on you so hurry." I said before hanging up the phone. I set my phone back down in the passenger seat and unbuckled my seatbelt. I got out of the and opened the trunk. I grabbed one of the boxes and started I walk them up the stairs. I reached the door and set the box down. I unlocked the door then took my things inside.

I walked to my room and put the box down on the mattress. I walked back out to find Lexie with two boxes in her hands. "Here let me help you." I said grabbing one of the boxes. "Thanks, where do I put this?" She asked. "Just set in on the mattress." I replied putting my box in the room. "Oh." She replied. I walked out of my room and back down to my car. I grabbed a few more boxes and carried them upstairs.

Lexie went back down to my car and grabbed the last few boxes and brought them up. I went back down to my car and looked in the trunk. There was a small violet box about the size of a cd that had "KEEP" written on the lid. I decided not to open it so I shoved it in my purse. I grabbed my phone out of the passenger seat and locked the car.

I walked back up to our apartment and walked to my room.i unpacked my first box that said "RECORDS" in big black letters across the top. I hung the records on my wall. I decided to do the rest of the decorating tomorrow.

I laid down on the couch and passed out.
