I ran as quickly as my tiny six-year-old feet would take me before shifting into a beautiful crisp white wolf pup and taking off towards my mother, nearly knocking her flat "Arden" she began sternly before laughing and handing me a pair of shorts and a blue vest top. I purred before running to my room in the castle and changing and brushing my wild red hair.
I'm Arden, I'm the queen and kings energetic daughter. I'm one of the last all blood in the lands meaning I have every type of supernatural blood in my veins, werewolf, dragon rider, pixie, tiger, fairy, a white stag, mermaid, vampire, sorceress, centaur, Pegasus, mermaid and even demon blood! But that's just the ones that I know about, there could be hundreds I don't know about. Now back to my story.
As I grew I discovered I had a need to protect my people but was never allowed near the weapons room in the castle so I mostly spent my time in the forest till my mother howled for me to come back, I didn't see much of my father anymore he was always in his study doing something that seemed important. I spent a lot of time with my mother and the villagers and mostly everyone really, I made a point to know everyone personally which proved to be a challenge as we had around two thousand people in our lands but I got it done in around a year or two, it was great. Life was fun and fulfilling.
Then I began to get bored, time kept going and I was running out of ideas of things to do, I spent more and more time in the forest just exploring. The forest was the only thing that went on and on, the only thing I didn't know everything about. It was my comfort, my escape from my world
The only thing stopping me from having a real life was my title, the princess thing that I hated. I occasionally found packages in the forest from one of the blacksmiths with my name on it. They sneaked me weapons behind my mother's back and I trained and trained in the forest but I had no teacher so I wasnt great with the moves but my balance was impeccable.
I was out before bed to patrol my beautiful forest as I had just turned twelve and was finally allowed to patrol. It had been very boring so far with no sign of animal or creatures to threaten my kingdom when I heard a rustle and a cry of pain coming from in the clearing.
