We had set off what felt like hours ago, my feet were beginning to ache and my eyes were becoming droopy. Blake turned around "are you getting tired? We can set up the tents here if you want" he asked his head tilting to the side a little it was cute "tents?!" I questioned, I had never been camping in my life. In fact, I thought I was quite strange that people slept on the floor willingly. "yeah, never been camping princess?" he sneered quite rudely to which I just growled at. "alright, alright we can just set them up" he laughed, his hands in the air and his neck bared in submission "why are you doing that, it's a wolf thing?" I said curiously "you pick a few things up about werewolves when you are near them a lot" he answered simply.
It became apparent that setting up tents is easier said than done when the had finished the monstrous task but I had somehow I had at up a beautiful crimson tent with a unique pattern of swirls and lines, I stepped back to admire my work. "good job princess, good for a first timer anyway" Draken nodded, that nickname was really starting to get on my nerves "don't call me princess" I growled deeply. Once again Drake just bared his neck and put his hands up to which I rolled my eyes and growled again "arden, that's what my parents called me, its what you shall call me as well, now I'm going to bed before you can annoy me again"
I laid my head on the soft silk pillow I had been provided with and fell asleep a few minutes later. My eyes opened to trees, familiar trees. The forest. Except it was different from the way I had left it; it was dying it was on fire, I ran further into the kingdom to find all of the houses on fire. Flames flickered all around me, they were coming closer burning the once lush green grass. Closer. Closer still. It was inches away, I was going to die I thought and I accepted it. Fire, the one thing I would allow myself to die by. I awoke with a jolt, just a dream. Always the same dream
I stepped out of the tent to find a very tired Draken roasting the remains of a boar. "hello, this is not for you. It's for me when you are hungry you get your own food, its every man for himself out here. But today you may have some as we are trying a different method of transportation, you are an all blood are you not? You shall be riding on my back, I have a destination of which is on the other side of the world" I just nodded so I could tuck into that boar, I was starving.
We had just finished when the sun began to rise "alright; when I shift you will climb onto my back, in front of my wings and we shall set off, then we shall come down to rest, eat and train.
