Forgotten

Chapter 2- intruder

I quickly shifted into my wolf form; my most used power and cautiously we weaved around the trees towards the clearing before letting out a low growl in cation towards the intruder.

It was a dragon. It was fully black  but he had a huge gash around its back and one on its belly. I gasped at its state and shifted unzipping my backpack containing more shifting fabric to go with the ones I was already wearing and the bandages and antiseptic, "yes!" I cried out startling the dragon in the process. I muttered a sheepish sorry then got to work tending to his wounds as a true princess would.

When I had finished I asked if he was a shifter or a dragon, he responded by sniffing at my shifting fabric with wide eyes. The stuff was rare but due to our titles, we got it free from the witches in the kingdom. "Shifter then?" I laughed before handing some for it to change into. The dragon nodded in thanks before shuffling behind a tree to shift. As the shifter emerged I saw a gorgeous boy with messy black hair and bandages poking out of his shirt and jeans. "Thank you so much princess" he spluttered before bowing. "Stop that, how do you know who I am?" I questioned "I heard that the princess was a white wolf, you should know that they are pretty rare and that you are visibly smaller than the average grown wolf. Therefor you are younger"
He explained. "Okay then Umm, what are you doing here anyway?" I asked curiously. " I was exploring and stumbled up here after a fight with a few lion shifters, wanna explore with me?"
"That's quite a question, I don't even know your name yet" I answered my eyes wide open at the opportunity that was in front of me. "It's Draken but you can call me drake, so wanna come?"
"S...sure, do I need anything?" I spluttered. "Nope" he answered tossing me two twin daggers "you train with these now" and with that we took off running. This was the adventure I needed, thank the goddess.
