The howling of wolves got louder with each step she took. She heard them everywhere and it was slowly making her crazy. She had been on the run ever since she left the castle,ever since she ran away.

But that was two years ago,surely everyone would have forgotten about her. But two years was a short time to forget about such a charismatic creature,the villagers cried for her,they wanted her to save them from the new king that kept them in captivity. The princess though a brave soul was nothing but a child,there's no way she could win a battle against bloodthirsty wolves. The forest that once looked vibrant and beautiful now looked deadly traping her in the place she called home for.....

The voice startled me bringing me out of my solitude and peace, I wasn't surprised when I found out whom it belonged to.

Helen, the head maid with icy blue eyes that could rip out your soul and blond hair kept in a tight bun reflecting clearly her personality.

Strict and restricting

She didn't wait for my reply,she never does.

"You should get ready for school if you don't want to be late.....and your mom said to wear something....non goth like"

Those were her last words before she left closing the door softly being her. I unlocked my phone squinting at the brightness.

Thirty minutes and forty eight second That's a new record. My clothing today was to spite my mom if she was still here that is. Black ripped skinny jeans,gray T-shirt with the inscription 'Sorry I'm late,I didn't want to come',ankle boots and my customary skull bracelets and rings. My blond hair was kept in a ponytail and my face had little makeup sprinkled here and there.
