The two classes I had before lunch passed like a blur and before I knew it,the annoying bell rang signifying lunch time. I met Jessica, my closest friend in this hell hole I call a school. She's the little sunshine in all this madness always looking at things in an optimistic way.
"OK Jess,I gotta ask for the reason you're extra excited today"
I took a huge bite from my sandwich moaning at how good it is. Food is life I tell you. Jess shrugged obviously wanting me to guess. The huge grin on her face could give the Cheshire cat a run for it's smile money. Taking tiny bites from my sandwich and gentle sips from my soda put Jess on edge,she wasn't a very patient person.
"Alright I'll tell you-"
Yay one point for me
"I'm getting my braces and glasses removed later today"
Jessica Willows 5'6 seventeen years old teen redhead with the brightest emerald green eyes anyone have ever seen. Like every stereotypical highschool,we have this barbie doll cheerleader who bullies people cause she thinks they're below her.
Bianca McQueen is that stereotypical cheerleader. She's been bullying Jessica for a long time now and though Jess prefers to keep quiet I don't. I insult her any time I have.
"Your getting those ugly things off. Why? Do you want to become uglier?"
Think of the devil and she shall appear
Bianca stood by our side staring at us with crystal blue eyes that seemed too good to be real. Her hands on her hips and lips pressed into a mischievous smirk.
"Go away Bianca,we're too old for Barbie dolls no matter how humongous they are"
A fake chuckle left Bianca lips as she took a seat by my side.
"Oh common Artemis,no need for insults or sarcasm,we're friends right" She inquired taking some of my fries and throwing them into her mouth.
Jessica shared a look with me,something was up and I was ready to find out.
"What do you want?"
An overly dramatic gasp left Bianca blowhole. I'm pretty sure she took acting class cause the shocked look in her face looked so real. After few seconds,she realizes that we weren't going to fall for her useless tricks and spoke up-
"I heard about the new phone and clothing line your parents are releasing next week and was hoping I could get my hands on some before it comes out"
