"Why are you doing this?!"
"Well, why not April?"
"Because you're my Teacher! Isn't that reason enough to stay away from me!" I yelled. He just wouldn't stop pestering me about moving in with him. Man, was he stubborn.
"Are title's really that important when you're involving people you care about?" He asked, straightening his glasses.
He had a point. But I wasn't going to let him risk his job just for my sake. I was just his student. "Get away from me old man!" I shouted, walking faster.
"Old man?!" He said in disbelief "I'll have you know I'm the youngest teacher in Blueberry High! You're just 5 years younger you brat!" He yelled back.
"Then find some other homeless girl to annoy!" I yelled, slumping on a park bench.
Huh, He followed me all the way to the park?
"What the heck do you want me to do to get you to believe I just want to help you!" He shouted. Can you believe it? A teacher actually shouting at his 18 year old student in a park on a weekend? Idiot.
"You really want to help?!"
"Of course!!"
"If you'd really want to help me than you'd marry me and take me as your wife!" I yelled back. There~ that ought to shut him up."Fine then!!"
I froze.
Did he just say.. ?
So he agreed to.. ?
Then that means..."Wh- what.. " I stuttered. I was too shocked to think of anything else to say. He pulled me by my arm and was already dragging me to the nearest church.
I stared at the man who just blindly agreed to get married to his 18 year old student.
-He was roughly about 6'1. He wore glasses that hid his hazel brown eyes, Dark brown hair that usually fell on his face, But in a cool, messy sorta way. He had a pair of thin pink lips, and had dimples that sunk deep down his cheeks when he smiled. -He was cute? Fuck. Who am I kidding, He was really hot.
Not to mention he was absolutely, without a doubt, a great teacher. He never got mad,the students loved him and he skillfully handled everything with a smile -which annoyed the hell out of me.
And now we were getting married.
"Mr.Maxwell!" I shouted, attempting to pry my arm from his death grip. For a highschool teacher that didn't have any time to work out, he was pretty strong.
"Escaping is futile Miss Heathers" he beamed, still dragging me along the sidewalk. People were giving us strange looks, Mr.Maxwell just greeted them a good morning and I would shoot them my most menacing glare.
After an hour of searching for a nearby church. It took us another solid 2 hours of yelling, shouting and occasional biting before he finally got me to agree to sign the damn contract. -Well, actually I just gave up.
"Are there anymore papers left to sign?" He asked smiling brightly at the woman behind the desk.
She smiled back. "Nope, everything seems to be settled with. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Maxwell! And may I just say that you two look perfect together!" The lady cheered, clapping her hands.
"Uh-huh sure we do." I muttered to myself, busily tapping my pen against the desk.
He slid his arm around my waist and pulled me closer. "Thank you very much, you have no idea how hard it was to convince her that I love her and would do anything I possibly can for her to be happy"
I stared at him for a couple of seconds before realization finally hit me hard. We were married. Like, officially and legally married. Like, I can never ever have a regular boyfriend cause that would be illegal married.
