"Hey, You still mad?"
Nothing.
"You can't ignore me forever" I frowned almost wanting to give up.
"I made some tea" I sang, hopeful he'd respond.
"But, I don't want tea!" He pouted, typing furiously onto his keyboard. I knew he was still mad about what happened between me and Jackson the other day but, I felt really happy he wasn't ignoring me anymore.
"What? No, this tea isn't for you. It's for me. It's was just a conversation starter." I informed, unable to hide the smile on my face.
He shot me an annoyed look "Well that's a sad excuse for a conversation starter" he scoffed, taking a sip of his coffee.
I arched a brow in amusement. "I don't care. We are conversing aren't we? So checkmate!" I smirked, walking over next to the vacant seat beside him.
He stopped drinking and narrowed his eyes at me. Checkmate indeed. After a few seconds, he slowly placed the cup down on the table and looked at me with a serious expression.
"April, are you sure there is nothing happening between you and that boy?" He asked. My eyes flickered to his hands that were now tightly balled up into fists. I virtually grinned like an idiot seeing how being with another guy affected him so much.
"For the millionth time" I sighed "I told you.. there is absolutely nothing going on with me and Jackson" We just met, so I don't see how there could be something sexual happening with me and a newly transferred student. I wasn't that kind of girl!
He sighed in defeat and placed his hands on my shoulders "Okay, okay.. I believe you" he smiled a sweet smile. Then, before I knew it I leaned in and kissed him on his cheek, which I'm guessing surprised him cause of the stunned expression he was making.
I couldn't help it. He was just so cute when he got jealous, almost like a little boy. I didn't feel conscious at all like I usually did at times when he was more maturer and calmer.
I turned my head to the side and frantically searched my mind for something to say, anything to distract him from what I just did.
"I-I.. Blueberries!" I yelled, getting up from my seat. But, before I could do so, a hand yanked my wrist, making me land on the soft cushion once again.
"Where do you think you're going?" His said, his voice an octave lower like before.
Good Lorrd, how could a man have such a voice.
"I-I was just going to make s-some blueberry waffles" I stuttered, looking down at my hands.
He chuckled deviously. Oh my sweet mother of dinkleberries - I felt my insides do all sort of backflips. That was the single most mesmerizing chuckle I have ever heard.
"Baby, you think I'd just let you get away with this just like that?" He asked amusingly, the mischief in his voice was as clear as glass. And I didn't know what to do with myself in situation's like this but, keep myself quiet. Stupid awkward me.
"April" He mused. "Look at me when I'm talking to you" He ordered but still managed to sound comforting. I slowly lifted my head and tried to match his intense gaze. But, I'm guessing I looked like I was about to wet myself.
Wait. That sounded bad - I meant Pee, not wet myself. That'd be gross.
"April" his smooth voice echoed in my head "Remember how I said I'd punish you if you If I didn't like what you did?" He asked, removing his laptop off his lap.
I blushed furiously at the memory - He had me pinned against the door and placed a small peck on the center of my neck. On instinct, my hands went straight up to touch the skin that grazed his lips. I could still feel it, in a weird sort of way. The heat, his breathe everything.
