Ugh I still don't get why I actually use my alarm to wake up but oh well. After a few minutes of fighting to get off my bed I check what hour it was and it was 11am in the morning.

– woah why did I wake up so late - I said to myself as I went to the bathroom to take a shower and get ready to go see Mel .

(10 minutos después)

– well it's now 11:25 am so let's get going - I said to myself taking a few important things such as my wallet , music notebook and my cellphone .

– hmmm...where could she be right now ? - i thought to myself while I was at the elevator and some girls came in chatting and I really didn't want to talk to them sadly my genes are to good for my own good.

– heyyy - said one of the girls. – hey - i said like a normal human being and the others laughed and I really was on the verge of dying .

– are you from here or are you just visiting ? - asked the same girl .

– both actually- I said trying to stop her from talking to me but It didn't work .

– really how interesting - she said and she got a little closer but then my phone was ringing and I thank the gods Jackson called so I could fake a conversation .

– could you hold on a second while I answer - I told the girl and she nodded .

– hey sweet cheeks how are you doing today my love - I said and I could here Jackson saying what the fuck.

– where you at ? - I asked and Jackson was still trying to understand and just when he was going to answer the doors of the elevator opened and I could see the girls really disappointed and as soon as I got out I went as far as I could and explained everything to Jackson.

– man next time you do that pls just pls say so like it's not cool I am not your girl - he said in a serious tone.

– Jackson are you actually ok , you are worrying me honestly - I said and he laughed sarcastically .

– ha ha ha you are very funny aren't you Ash - he said and I laughed .

– well yeah but thanks anyway man I'm occupied so I have to go - I said and he ended the call .

As I walked I saw a lot of people from different places who would of have said San Juan was so big and cool . Time passed and I found myself in front of Mel's work place and entered .

– buenas [ hello ] - said one of the staff and then I looked around for Mel and didn't find her so I ask one of the staff who seem in charge .

– permiso [ excuse me ] - I said and the person turned back to me to see me .

– si en que puedo ayudarte ? [ yes what can i help you with ? ] - he said and I explained .

– ah si ya se quien eres , te he visto mucho en estos días [ ah yes i know who you are I've seen you quite a lot these days ] - he said .

– pues sabes en dónde ella está ? [ well you know where she is ? ] - I asked and he nodded.

– ella no va a estar hoy aquí porque su amiga viene de L.A. ya que su hermano no va a estar por una semana pero no se en dónde exactamente . [ she is not gonna be here today cause her friend is coming from LA since her brother is away for a week but I don't really know where she is ] - he said .

– gracias [ Thank you ] - i said and he nodded and after that I exited the place and went to different stores and stuff to pass the time since I don't have anything else to do , and while I was walking I saw a library and went inside since I Love reading .

{ note from the author: I don't really know if in San Juan there is actually a book cafe but oh well just enjoy the story }

As I entered I saw a few people drinking coffee while reading and others chatting over a cup of tea / coffee .

– buenas necesitas asistencia en algo ? [ Hellou do you need any asistente on something ? ]- asked an old lady who seemed to be the owner of the library .

– no gracias sólo estoy pasando a ver ya que me encanta leer .[ Thank you but no i was just passing by since I love reading ] - I said and she smiled .

– eres estado unidense  ? [ are you from the US ? ] - she asked and I nodded.

– well yes and no - I said and I explained to her .

– oh ok it's just you have this cute little accent and well I was just curious but what an interesting story . - she said talking in English since she also is from the US

– well I hope you come visit us a lot since I love seeing people your age read , it's such a waste people now don't like it - she said and i laughed a little and so did she and after a few talks I went out since it was getting late and I had to go pick up Jackson...who would have thought an old lady talked so much .

After leaving the book cafe I went to the hotel to search for my jacket since I had to wait a little at the airport and there was no way in hell I was going to freeze to death .

After looking for my jacket I took a taxi to take me to the airport .

( 20 minutes after )

– thank you - I said to the taxi driver as I paid and got out and entered the airport to see a lot of different people and then I just waited at the waiting area .

( half an hour later )

– well it's 6:50 pm so he has to be here - I said looking at my cellphone and then I heard the announcer say that Jackson's flight has just landed and with that I just wait for him and a few minutes later I saw him and he came and gave me a bro hug.

– welcome to Puerto Rico my dear friend - I said and he laughed and then we both turn looking at where a girl screamed and then I saw Mel ??!!  And then she looked at me surprised while she was on top of her friend and she looked at us.....
