Evan's PoV

Opening my eyes the sun immediately blinds me.

Groaning I roll over, Noah sound asleep next to me.

Noah...

I place my hand gently on his face.

He's been through so much, and he hasn't talked to anyone except me..

I pressured him into talking.

I felt the tears prick my eyes while I looked down at him.

I sit up, kicking my feet off the bed.

Standing up I stretch my arms above my head, feeling satisfied.

My stomach growled, making me jump in surprise.

Oh my god.

I walk out of the room, going downstairs into the kitchen to make breakfast.

I throw together some pancakes and eggs. "Evan?"

Looking towards the entrance Noah's standing with his hands in his pockets. His eyes are puffy from crying.

"Hey Noah, told you I wouldn't leave" I smile while walking up to him, wrapping my arms around his waist.

His face flushed a light pink.

"Stop it" he mumbles out.

"Nope, but I made breakfast" I turn around tapping the table.

He hums, walking to the table he sits down, digging into the food while I drink my orange juice.

"Thank you" He looks up at me, giving a big smiling, showing off his pearly whites.

The fluttering feeling in the pit of my stomach returned. Making me shift around uncomfortably.

Now that's a real smile.

"You're so beautiful Noah" The words flew out of my mouth, my eyes widened in surprise just as his did.

"I'm sorry! It slipped out" covering my mouth I felt the heat rush to my face.
"It's fine" he laughed out quietly.

"Thank you..."

"You're welcome..."

We sat in awkward silence, Noah had a small smile while he finished his food.

After he was done eating we went back upstairs and laid on his bed again.

"Hey Evan?"

"Yeah?" I answered, turning to him.

"How's Amy?"

Oh...

"She's fine" Noah nodded his head, rolling off the bed.

"Where you going?"

"Somewhere.." He stood up, walking towards me.

I felt my heart race as he walked up to me. Gulping I watched as he held his hand out.

Thank God.

Sighing in relief I grab his hand as he pulled me up.

"Come on"

"Where are we going?"

He ignores me, walking down the stairs into the hallway.

"Noah, tell me" Whining I grab onto his arm.

"No"

"Please" I continue to whine in protest while he drags me to the car.

"Will you stop whining already?" He groans while rubbing his temples.

"Sorry" I mumble out, staring down at my hands.

I let Noah drive while I look out the window, the leaves on the trees blowing in the wind.

He stops the car, motioning me to get out.

Stepping out of the car we're parked near a cemetery..

Oh..

I felt my heart pound rapidly as the guilt was eating me up.

He grabbed my hand, leading me through the cemetery. Some had flowers placed neatly in front of them, while others had gifts.

He suddenly came to a halt, making me bump into his back.

"Here we are.." He mumbled.

Walking around him we stood in front of four headstones.

'Amanda Collins, Adam Collins, Timothy Collins, and Jessica Collins.'

"It took a lot of convincing to get them all placed next to each other.."

Noah rubbed the back of his head while looking down with a sorrowful gaze.

Nodding my head I squat down so I'm directly in front of them.

"Hi there, I'm Evan Hart..one of Noah's friends.."

Noah looked down at me with a confused look.

"He is such a quiet person, it was so hard for him to trust me. He can be such a pain in the butt"

"Evan what're you doing? Get up"

He wrapped his hand around my arm, pulling slightly.

"But, I think he's an amazing person. You raised an independent and smart man" Turning my head I look up at Noah with a smile.

He looked down at me, obviously embarrassed.

"Really Evan?"

Nodding my head he finally gives in, sitting down next to me.

"You were supposed to introduce me, but I did all the work" I huffed, looking away from him.

He groaned quietly in annoyance.

"Evan here is so persistent on everything. Even though I tried so hard to keep him away, he still pushed himself into my life.."

I felt my face heat up at his sudden words, turning to look at him I stick my tongue out.

He shakes his head, laughing quietly.

"But, he's been here for me, and I thank him for that"

He smiles at me, making my heart jump.

"N-Noah.."

"Would you look at the time, it's getting late" He stood up, holding his hand out.

"What? It's not even three yet" Laughing I take his hand.

He led me back to the car, holding the door open for me.

Instead of an awkward drive, it was pleasant.

"Thank you Evan"

I turn, looking at Noah. His eyes are trained on the road ahead.

"For what?" I mumble out, feeling my face heat up.

"Everything" he bluntly states.

Humming I look out the window, slowly moving my hand to his.

I enlace our hands, making him jump slightly in surprise.

He squeezes my hand slightly, making me turn to look at him.

Noah's usually blank expression has changed so much.

He smiles a lot, but this smile showed so much happiness.

Making me fall even deeper in love with him.
