The Debut

*DAYS LATER*

*YOONGI'S POV*

"Which one do you think suits me more?" my best friend Ha Eun, currently my new girlfriend, said putting the dresses near her body

"Probably the 1st one" I said, making up a decision

"2nd it is then!" she said putting the clothing back to where it was

"But.. I said the 1st one?" I got confused

"You've got horrible taste in fashion, Yoongi" she said

"Ouch, that hurts! As a KPOP idol, I must have a great sense in fashion" I stood up, towering over her

"Aish, you're still as childish as ever" she giggled

"And you're still as cute as ever" I leaned in and kissed her cheek

"Yoongi oppa! Look!" she pointed towards an ice cream truck

"Can we get some?" I smiled before nodding my head

She ran towards the truck and pulled me along with her

"Woah! So many choices!" she said looking through the menu

"You're still as crazy for ice cream, aren't you?" I asked before letting out a small laugh

"No.. I, uhm.. I haven't ate ice cream in a year!" she defended herself, but I knew she was lying

"Alright sure" I said before letting out another small laugh

"I'll have the cookies and cream please" she said to the vendor

"And I'll have-" I said before getting cut off by Ha Eun

"He'll have a mint chocolate chip" she continued, shockingly getting my order correct

"I've been with you for almost the whole entirety of our childhood, I know what you do and don't like" she smiled making me smile too

"Alright, one cookies and cream.." the vendor said giving it towards Ha Eun

"And one mint chocolate chip" he said giving the next ice cream to me

"That'll be ₩ 20,000"  he said and I pulled my wallet out

"I'll pay" I said, grabbing ₩20000 from my wallet and handing it over to the vendor

"Thank you!" Ha Eun politely said before we started to walk away

We strolled around the park until we had finished our ice creams

Then, we sat down on a bench, surrounded by bright orange tinted lights

It was already getting dark and we both didn't notice

"Guess time flies faster when you're having fun" I said which made her nod and giggle

"Yoongi oppa.." she called out

"Yeah?" I answered

"Thank you.. I didn't think that after confessing to you, this would happen.." she smiled at me

"Well, miracles do happen" I said wrapping my arm around her shoulder and pulling her closer to me
