By now the Rangers, excluding Tyler who had ran off on a ' hunch ', were currently in the loading bay walking towards the T-Rex head, Jason at this point was walking but still covering his torso with his arm and very much in pain. Climbing up the boxes was a challenge that Jason didn't expect but he did get through it with a bit of help from Riley.
After sliding down into the base Jason groaned in pain as they all walked over towards Kendall and Keeper. " Where's Tyler? " Kendall asked the team as they all shrugged. " He ran off because he had a hunch. " Chase told her as he glanced at Jason who stood beside Riley, slightly leaning on the guy for support.
" Why do you have one of their Dino Sabers and why are you holding your torso. " Kendall asked Jason as Chase answered for him. " He's injured badly, one of Sledge's goons and him got into a fight and the reason he's got my Dino Saber is because his sword was shattered yesterday. "
Jason's eyes widened at his friend's reply looking up at Kendall with a small smile. " I'm absolutely fine, don't worry about me. " He told them as he winced when Riley adjusted himself, letting go of Jason as the man doubled over, breathing heavily. " Just get me some morphine and a first aid kit and I'll do It myself. " Jason told them as he slowly hobbled over to the nearest bench and leaned on It.
" Good Grief Jason, you're an idiot. Chase could you fetch me the first aid kit and some morphine from the med bay? " Kendall asked Chase as he nodded and disappeared into another part of the cave. " Let me have a look. " She told Jason as he slowly removed his arm that was covering and putting pressure on the wound.
His arm was covered in blood, the long sleeved purple t-shirt that he was currently wearing was torn in the middle and his sleeve was now much darker, to an extent it looked to be the colour magenta, and Jason's arm was soaked with his own blood.
" Take your shirt off " Kendall instructed him as he nodded and with some assistance from Kendall he finally got It off and hopped on to the bench. Looking down at the wound It wasn't as bad as It felt, It was wide but not deep but it burned. " Found what you were looking for Kendall. " Chase told her as Kendall shot Chase a sharp look as If to say " It's Ms. Morgan. " as Chase set down the aid kit, bottle of morphine, syringe and a cloth down.
" Jason, I'm going to need to clean the wound before I give you the morphine, It will hurt, alright? " Kendall told him as Jason nodded and took a hold of her hand " Just do what you need to do, I trust you. " He told her as Kendall nodded, grabbing the damp cloth and started to cleaned to wound with Jason hissing at the contact of the cloth that was damped with a mix of antiseptic and water.
Jason noticed the others talking amongst themselves but didn't hear them and he didn't really care about what they were talking about as he faintly felt the cloth leave his abdomen and was followed up by something wrapping around his forearm and a small prick in his arm as the morphine entered his system, Kendall treading stitches through the wound to close it up, putting dressing on it afterwards.
He sees Kendall walk off towards the others as he sighs eyes closing tightly, he started to slightly feel the morphine settle in but the pain was still there and It was just annoying to Jason that he couldn't go back out there and help the rest of the Rangers but he knew that one, the stitches were new and could easily rip if he wasn't careful, two, that he was as high as a kite on morphine and wasn't in the state to fight and three, Kendall would never let him to go out in any sense even If he was in this state or not.
It had been a few minutes for the rest of the group in the room but for Jason, who was sitting on a work bench, eyes closed and breathing in through his nose and out through his mouth. He didn't notice the Rangers heading out to Tyler's location nor did he notice Kendall walk over towards her currently high boyfriend.
Placing a hand on Jason's shoulder, making Jason open his eyes and look up at her. " You alright? You took a pretty bad beating out there. " Kendall asked Jason as he nodded, a small smile was on his face " Yeah, I'm good. Still standing and the others are not scratched but I'm high as anything. " Jason told her as he looked down to the floor, sighing deeply " It's just, I've already lost one team of Rangers, I'm not going to lose another. "
Kendall frowned at what he just said to her, she just shook It off, putting It down to him being high on morphine but what he said lingered in the back of her mind. Jason shook his head and looked up at her with a massive, goofy smile. " All that aside, how in the world do you stay with somebody like me, somebody who's an extremely good liar, somebody who when he sees danger is to run head first into It. How do you cope? " Jason asked her as Kendall just laughed.
" It's the wine. " She joked as they both let out a small laugh as Kendall shook her head. " No but really, It's because you are just... you, I can't even explain it. You're just you and that's It. Now come on, let's get you to the med bay. " She told him as she hooked her arm around him, both heading towards the med bay.

When the Rangers returned both Kendall and Jason were nowhere to be seen, the bloody hand print that was previously on the workbench that Jason sat on was cleaned, the first aid kit, morphine and damp cloth were also nowhere to be seen.
" They're probably in the med bay. " Chase told them as the group followed Chase to the med bay. They came to a halt, nobody saying a thing or making a sound as they all watched as Jason and Kendall sat there, laughing, smiling and talking amongst themselves, Jason who had a brand new t-shirt on lay there, grin as wide as anything and Kendall who sat there, blazer off, hair down and glasses off telling Jason something that the Rangers didn't dare listen too.
Looking at one another, Shelby motioned behind them as they looked at one another and nodded. The group heading upstairs to start their lunch rush shifts at the café, not daring to make a sound.
