Marshall lee POV

I knew that Gumball didn't want to go skydiving, but it was more interesting because he said ok it my offer, like for the first time in forever!

I grabbed him by the wrist and started to leave the tree house, but as we go outside he yanked his arm back,
"Marshall I am a prince don't handle me like that" Gumball tried to make clear
"Oh yeah? And I'm a king, so I automatically outrank you, I can do whatever I want" I smirked back at him grabbing his wrist again and walking into a plain area in the forest, the prince sighed at my response to his words, but followed after me.

Gumball POV

I groaned, I hate that king so much, I mean what is he the king of? The only vampire in The Land Of Aaa is... well him, so he can't be fulfilling his duties here...

Marshall lead me to a clear spot in the woods and hugged me from behind
"M-Marshall was are you..." I tried to say but was once again cut off
"Hold on tight" the vampire said seconds before shooting up into the air getting to a higher that one sudden wrong move from either of us would end in a fatality and guilty vampire.
"MARSHALL LEE ABADEER" I yelled out
"Yeeeesssssss?" Marshall sulked as I shouted his name
"THIS IS TOOOO HIGH" I was almost about to cry but I knew crying wouldn't make Marshall out me down anyways
"Too high? Well why don't I just.. let you go..." Marshall dropped me and we both started to fall.
I started to feel better once being released from the vampire but I forgot about what could happen once I hit the ground.
I looked to me right to see Marshall falling next to me, he grabbed my hand, and pulled me on top of him, at first I questioned what he was doing but then I realised, he was going to save me from hitting the floor, in 5 seconds we were about to hit the floor and even though I knew I was being saved by Marshall, I still couldn't help but panic
"Marshaaaaalllllllll" I shouted out

There was a crack, I didn't know what it was but it was loud, I looked up from Marshall's chest and saw life and nature around me, I jumped up
"I'm alive!!" I started saying over and over again to myself
"Some help?" I had just noticed that Marshall was still laying on the floor....

He wasn't hurt, was he? I mean he's already dead so he can't exactly die again... can he?
He better not, I reached out to him and he grabbed my hand and I pulled him up, it was then I realised that crack was actually Marshall falling into a log and with force, crushing it.
"Oh my glob Marshall, are you ok?" I panicked
"I-I'm fine I do this all the time..." he said back, I never knew that Marshall did this all the time, I mean he spends a lot of time alone, so I didn't surprise me.
"We could have died doing that though!" I yelled, acting like an angry mother
"You mean you right?" Marshall still had his annoying attitude as always
"Not the point, I'm important to the candy kingdom, what do you think they would do without there prince? Huh?" I was kinda angry at Marshall, since he never told me that we were going soooo high.
"Chill out, your alive aren't you? So no need to worry" the king tried to play it cool, but I could see him sweating,
He looked worried, like he knew I could have been hurt and he didn't want me to be, I mean he didn't have to save me he could have easily killed me and eaten me for his supper, so why didn't he?

Marshall lee POV

I felt bad, making Gumball panic so much, but after all I got a friend to skydive with out of it, kind of.
I felt like telling him about my feelings towards him but I knew he wouldn't believe me or would think it's one of my little jokes, how can I show him that I am not joking about?.....
