Marshall lee POV

I pushed my thoughts aside and tried to focus on the movie, but something was playing on my mind, what would happen if I was mistaking my feelings towards gumball, and it actually was love, I just made a fuss and started a rivalry between me and him.

Cake was staring at me from across the room, as if she was trying to enter my thoughts, obviously that was impossible, right? I was just being cautious, a small kitty cat wouldn't be able to access my mind, she was probably just trying to read what I was thinking by my facial expressions? I don't know I might just be putting way to much thought into it.
"Marshall you ok? You look more dead then usual" the cat called over to me, catching me off guard.
"Uh? Oh I'm fine just, I haven't had any rest recently" I made up an excuse
"Ok then.." cake replied and turned back to face the screen.

Gumball POV

I thought vampires didn't need rest, but apparently Marshall does? I don't know but it sounded like a pretty lame excuse for him to use, I was tempted to ask him what's as really wrong but I know that never ends up well.
I decided to wait until the movie was over.

When the movie finished Marshall shot up and his eyes were big,
"Does anyone want to skydive!!" Marshall exclaimed, startling cake.
"Marshall me and cake need to sleep we have a big adventure tomorrow" Fionna replied
"Gumball? You coming or is it me and just me alone? Again?" Marshall looked at me, puppy eyes, I wanted to say yes but I have a huge fear of heights, I knew if I said no I was going to go back to the castle and feel bad for days, but if I went with Marshall I could have a chance to talk to him and be at risk of dying, glob why is this boy so tricky!
"I don't know Marsha..." I went to say the truth but was cut off
"Please! I'll keep you safe gummy!" Marshall was down on the floor on his knees
"Fine! But this doesn't mean I trust you with my life at all!" I made it clear that I wasn't doing it because I trust Marshall, but because I didn't want him to be alone tonight
"Yeah yeah, you don't trust me I know, just come on!" Marshall grabbed be by the wrist and left the tree house.......
