Yui's POV
"An outing?"

"Hai! Will you come?" I looked up at him in hopes he will come and he scratched his head before nodding.

"I guess I will since I wasn't able to attend the first day class." He said and I grinned and bowed.

"Arigatō Kamiya-kun!!" I heard him hum.

"You know." I looked up and he was scratching his cheek.

"You don't have to keep calling me by my surname. Tsubaki's fine." I then brightened up and nodded.

"I will! Tsubaki-san!"

"U-uh...eto..." He shifted to his other foot and was eyes averted somewhere else.

"Ah!! You must be the human Melissa's watching over!!"

"Eh? Where?"

"Down here!" I looked down and saw a stuffed rabbit.

"Don't just surprise people Al." He said as he carried the stuffed rabbit and held it in his arms.

'Ka-kawaii!! Tsubaki-san looks so kawaii!!'

"And you are?" I asked the plush.

"I'm Alyssa!! Zeus also created me!! And I'm a guy by the way." He added and I giggled.

"Nice to meet you too Alyssa. I'm Kusanagi Yui."

"Nice to meet you Kutanagi!!"

'😅 They're really the same if they can't call me by my name properly.' I thought nervously.

"Well. I'll see you then. When's the outing?"

"Three days from now." He hummed and excused himself and I bowed as he closed the boys dormitory door and I left for my dormitory.

'I can't wait for the outing!'

"I hope everyone comes."

"Don't worry about it Kutanagi! I'm sure they will! Especially that Kamiya-kun!! You two are friends and siblings!!"

"Arigatō Melissa and he's my adopted brother."

"How was he your adopted brother anyway?" I hummed as I fixed my hair.

"He was abused by his foster father and his mother was always busy so my parents took him in when we knew his mother was dead."

"Wait. How long has he been abused?"

"Well he was already apart of the family when he was 7 and his mother was dead when he was 6 so I'm not really sure but the police said that maybe when he was 5?"

"So for maybe 2 years then? That's a tough life." I nodded and took my bag from the bed.

"I'll be off now!"

"Bye bye!? Take care Kutanagi!!" I waved as I left the dormitory and waited at the school gate.

"Yui." I saw Tsubaki-san and waved at him.

"You came!"

"Of course. I did say that I'd come since I wasn't able to join classes." He said as he placed his hand on his pocket.
