"Are you sure about it?" He challenges, whispering his words quietly.
"I'm always-" as usual, I'm always sure about my decisions but this one is different. My voice fades but I'm quick to find its way back. Hesitating, I finally blurt out, "yes."
He takes my final answer and does what he's expected to do.
I remain silent, waiting for our climaxed mystery to zone in, at any moment.
