Snowfur yawned, and stretched in the early morning rays of the sun. A few warriors were beginning to gather around the highrock, where they knew the patrols will be sorted.
Eaglewing strode out from the Warriors den and shot Snowfur a baleful glare.
Ever since the battle, Snowfur had been relentlessly tormented by Eaglewing and his followers, and all because of his origins.
"I'll lead a border patrol on the WolfClan border. Any volunteers?" Snowfur mewed, looking over the warriors that were awake and moving about in the camp.
"I'll go." Eaglewing growled, the black and white tom glaring at Snowfur, as if daring him to object. A few of the cats quietly laughed, like all of them were in on a funny joke.
"Fine. Anyone else?"
The rest of the warriors were silent.
Eaglewing smirked, sending a wave of fear down Snowfur's spine.

The two cats stalked towards the border, wary for any intruders.
"So, Snowfur.. How's it feel that your old Clan wants to kill you?" Eaglewing inquiries, the beginnings of a snarl played upon his muzzle, long teeth glinting in the dawn light.
"None of your business." Snowfur retorted, glaring at Eaglewing from the corner of his eyes.
As Snowfur kept walking, he was faintly aware that Eaglewing was no longer beside him.
Mangy tom probably went back to camp. He thought, shaking his head.

Snowfur continued along to the WolfClan border, the tall redwood trees letting in muted shafts of sunlight. Snowfur stopped to mark a tree stump and opened his jaws to let the increasingly-chilly air hit the scent glands on the roof of his mouth. The scents of WolfClan were prominent, but there were hints of some odd scent he couldn't identify. It was at this point Snowfur began to feel a little scared. It seemed that everything around him went silent. Even the rustle of prey stopped. Maybe it's just a storm brewing somewhere? Snowfur thought, attempting to rationalize the sudden loss of sound and odd surge of fear. Snowfur finished marking the border after a few short moments, and tried to hurry to camp. The gray and white tom was faintly aware of Eaglewing's scent, but it was too muted and faint to find out the exact source. With no warning a heavy weight threw itself onto the deputy's back. A terrible screech echoed out as Eaglewing bit deep into Snowfur's shoulder.
"WolfClan traitor!" He hissed through his mouthful of fur.
Snowfur surged upward, ripping His shoulder from Eaglewing's maw, turned in midair and slammed the black and white Tom's head into the ground. Eaglewing spat out crimson, then slashed at Snowfur's still-tender shoulder, sending the deputy crying out. The two toms locked together in a screeching tussle, Eaglewing spitting insults and slurs at Snowfur, who couldn't comprehend why Eaglewing was doing this. Snowfur let a tear escape him as he though of when Eaglewing was an apprentice- his apprentice, the happy go-lucky little cat, eager to learn all he could.
Now, that all changed in a heartbeat. Snowfur was suddenly yanked back to reality as Eaglewing slashed at his scar. Here he was now, pinned beneath Eaglewing, and those happy memories gone. Snowfur kicked his hind legs upwards into Eaglewing's belly, sending the black and white tom sprawling. Clenching his eyes tightly against the barrage of sorrow that threatened to overflow, Snowfur slashed outward with a fore-paw, slashing Eaglewing's nose. Instead of continuing a fight he would inevitably lose, Snowfur abrupty turned tail and blindly ran towards the vague direction of the ForestClan camp. He was aware of Eaglewing chasing him, but the hefty tom couldn't keep up with the more lithe Deputy. "Why are you doing this?!" Snowfur screeched, looking behind him. Eaglewing was silent for a few moments. "Wolfstar tells me to!" he growled, his eyes appearing foggy and unfocused, as he continued trying to catch up with Snowfur.

Snowfur's legs pumped harder, running so fast his belly fur brushed the ground and his tail streamed out behind him. With a cry of relief, Snowfur barreled into camp mere second before Eaglewing. As Snowfur yowled for help, Fernstar almost instantly emerged from her den worriedly, tail bushing up in terror. The normally gentle leader growled menacingly at Eaglewing. The black and white warrior looked briefly unnerved. The dappled gray leader sprang onto Eaglewing with no warning, biting deep on his spine. Eaglewing retaliated, twisting and trying to maim Fernstar, but she wouldn't allow it. With a powerful hind leg kick, Fernstar sent Eaglewing wheezing as she impacted his ribs, and in turn, his solar plexus.

"This fight is over, Eaglewing." She spat, sheathing her claws. To the Clan's surprise, the black and white warrior attempted to get up, only to be shoved down back onto the ground by an angry Yellowstem. "As a result of your crimes against ForestClan, the attack of your Clanmate- and my deputy, you are hereby Banished from ForestClan." Fernstar yowled, shoving her muzzle close to Eaglewing's face. "And, if we find you in our territory, I will personally shred you." The black and white tom snarled and feebly slashed at Fernstar's nose. The mottled gray leader stepped backward, Gesturing with her tail as she spoke. "Yellowstem, Dawnfrost, escort this traitor out of my camp at once." The two toms in question dipped their heads respectfully before grabbing Eaglewing's scruff roughly and hauling him out of camp.
