EPILOGUE

She looked just like me. Smaller, and squishier, but full of life. She opened her bright (e/c) eyes and I felt my heart melt. I was the first to hold her. Well, the second if you include my mother, but right now, she was sleeping in her hospital bed.

She began to wriggle, kicking her tiny infant feet and squeezing her little palms into fists,"Why so fussy?" I asked her. She opened her mouth like she was going to respond, but all that came out was a strained cry. I fetched her bottle off of the nightstand and cradled her in my left arm, while the right fed her her bottle. She sucked at it gently, biting at the nipple with her gummy mouth in pure content.

Gar plopped down in the seat next to me and nuzzled his head in my neck, planting a tiny kiss on my cheek,"She's eating again?" I nodded.

"Ahuh. Shes a hungry little one." Oblivious to our conversation, the baby continued to wallow in baby milk happiness,"Shes so beautiful."

"Like someone I know." He grinned, pressing his forhead against my temple,"What's her name?"

"Hm—" Abruptly, the door swung open and in rolled Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Yuki and Tyler.

"Guys look! We made Yuki and Tyler superhero outfits!" Cyborg announced loudly. Gar shushed him, stood up, and smacked him on the back of the head,"Ow!" He whisper yelled,"Sorry, jeez."

Yuki stood in a beautiful fuchsia leotard with a white skirt and a fuchsia and white japanese cat mask strapped on her forehead waiting to be pulled over her face. It gorgeously complimented her hair, which now ended just below her shoulders.

Tyler wore an all black body suit complete wih black shoes and a white belt to strap around his waist. His shoulder pads where white as well as his face mask strapped across his mouth. He pulled it down to flash me a grin,"The baby!" Yuki's eyes lit up as she raced to my side, followed by the rest of them.

"Oh, shes so precious." Yuki whispered. I felt Gar's thumb caressing my hand.

"I know.." I smiled down at her. When I finally went to talk to my mother, which was about three months after the explosion, she forgave me and said she always loved me. Then right after that, she went into labor. Now here are in the hospital once again, holding the newly born baby Wren.

"Another bird name!" Robin cheered.

"Actually.. I asked my mother to name her that because of Raven. She may have been evil, tried to kill me twice, and succeeded in doing it once, but she taught me a lot. A whole lot. And I thank her for that." I unconsciously brushed my hand against her cloak that I was still wearing.

"Such a sob story." Robin rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.

"And I named her because of you too, birdie." I chuckled. He beamed and smiles proudly. Wren spit the nipple out and I figured she had enough, so I set the bottle on the table and held her up against my chest to burp her. Someone threw open the door again.

"Bridge-o here, back with the fro-yo." Bridge said, carrying at least eight cups of frozen yogurt.

"Yes!" Cyborg reached for one, but Bridge pulled back.

"Ah ah ah." She shook her head,"I bought one for mom, one for (Y/n), one for Gar and five for me."

They all began their own string of complaints, which only made me laugh,"Bridge cmon."

"Fineee." She drawled, handing one to each of us. She set mom's in the fridge for her later,"I dare that baby to ask for frozen yogurt." She glared at Wren,"It will be no more."

Gar chuckled,"Yeah. Like you could kill a ba-"she gave him a death glare,"errrr, on second thought, I'll just shut up."

My face broke out into a grin. I couldn't wait to watch Wren grow up and annoy her big and bigger sister. I couldn't wait to marry Gar and maybe have kids of our own. To hell with not getting powers. All of the people I need are right here.
