Forever

*one year later*
It's been a year. Time went so fast that it feels like only yesterday dad was put in jail. Mum got herself a job at a cafe and has an apartment not far from our house. Oh yeah we got a house. Sam, Colby, Catalina, Kat and I all live in this beautiful two story house just outside of la. Kat and I have started making music together as a duet and we've gotten pretty popular. Sam and Colby are still making YouTube videos. Even though I sometimes don't approve of what their doing I still them them do it. Catalina has learnt how to crawl now. She can say Mum, dad, Sam, Kat and hi. Dad has been sentenced to life in prison so we don't need to worry about him anymore. Today is mine and Colby's two year anniversary. We're going out to some restaurant I think. I don't exactly know what he has planned because he said it's a surprise. Kat agreed to help me get ready with Colby paying her to make sure it's suitable for what we're going to be doing.
"Come on Shaun, you only have half an hour to get your hair and makeup done and with you and your crazy reactions to makeup it's gonna take that long" I sit down on the chair Kat has prepared for me. She starts curling my hair and just leaves it out. Then the fun part. Makeup
"Kat, I don't need to wear makeup" she shakes her head
"No. You need to wear makeup. You've been barely sleeping because of the music production and Catalina so we need to cover your sleepy ness. At least let me put foundation on you" I let Kat do her thing. She's not wrong. With having a deadline for our album and Catalina crying all night I haven't been getting much sleep. Sam and Colby have been traveling to find abandoned places so Colby couldn't help with Catalina. With five minutes to spare before I had to be downstairs Kat finishes up and hands be a bag. I look at myself in the mirror and smile and how pretty I think I look. I'm not one for wearing dressy clothes much. I'm more of a sweat pants and hoodies girl so this is way out of my comfort zone. Kat starts to pull me out the room and almost pushes me down the stairs. I'm wearing heels so it's kinda hard for me to walk. When I get to the bottom of the stairs I look to my right and Colby is staining at me with his jaw on the ground.
"Wow. You're absolutely stunning" he gives me a hug and opens the front door of our house
"ILL TAKE CARE OF LINA FOR YOU (Lina is a nickname for Catalina. Idk thought it was cute)" I give Kat a thumbs up and follow Colby to his car. We end up going to a really nice sushi restaurant. I was so happy because sushi was my favourite. While eating we talk about all the fun times we had together and things that we want to do together in the future. Some days I wish I didn't have to work so we could go on dates like this all the time but we got bills to pay and that sucks. Good thing being a musician pays well. After about an hour we finish up eating and decide to go get ice cream for desert. We walk down to this really nice ice cream place and I get a plain vanilla cone while Colby gets a chocolate fudge cone. We walk down the stress of LA eating out ice cream. We must have walked pretty far because we're soon at a beach. Colby suggests that we go and put our feet in the water. I take my heels off and race him to the water.
"I win" he was so happy
"You only won because I had to take my heels off and that gave you a head start" I put my toes in the water and surprisingly it wasn't that cold. I go in so the water stops at my ankles and Colby comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist.
"Now we wait for my special helpers to come" special helpers? Oh god what has he got planned. We hear a small cough and turn around to see Sam, Kat and Catalina. He went as far as to even plan ya standing on the beach. Colby let's go of my waist and goes up to Sam. Kat comes up to me and gives me a follower crown with my favourite flower on it (just say it's your favourite flower. Idk names of flowers). Kat goes back to stand with Sam and I notice Sam has his camera out and a big light behind him. I guess whatever's happening Colby wants good lighting. Colby comes and stands in front of me.
"Shauna, you know I love you right" oh no is he gonna break up with me
"Yeah I know that" he grabs my hand and kisses it. He's definitely breaking up with me.
"Colby quit being cheesy and just get on with it already" Colby laughs at jays comment and gets on one knee and holds out a ring
"Shauna golbach, please marry me" without hesitation I nod my head like crazy. After a while of not being able to get out any words from shock I get out a quick yes. Colby stands up and slide the ring on my finger then gives me a kiss. I wrap my arms around his next and he picks me up and we spin around in a circle. Sam, Kat and Catalina are cheering.
"You know when you asked I I knew you loved me I thought you were gonna break up with me" with both feet steady on the ground I look into Colby's eyes
"Never think that. I never wanna leave you and I never want you to leave me" I kiss him again and then give him a big hug
"I love you so much"
"I love you too"
