About an hour after we arrived, it was time to get a makeover. I am so nervous, but excited because I never wear any makeup but lip gloss. My mother says I don't need it, but I think bronzer and mascara could go a long way for me.
I sit down in the stylist chair and meet the stylist. Her name is Sarah. She says she wants to cut off 5 inches of my hair. 5 inches?! I have never cut my hair before, but I suppose she is the expert, and I should let her do what she wants. I give her the Ok, and I begin to see my hair dropping onto the floor. I know it's stupid, but I ask her to put some of it in an envelope to send to my Mom. She smiles and says OK, and she likes how thoughtful I am.
I head over to the makeup chair and meet the stylist. Her name is Bonnie. She asks If I have ever worn makeup. I say no.
"Perfect. Your skin is flawless anyway." she says.
I blush and giggle, and she begins to work her magic. When she turns me around, as it turns out, I was right. She has put on a light foundation, a bronzer, a highlighter, a peachy Blush, A nude brown smokey eye, eyeliner, fake wispy eyelashes, and a touch of peachy, shimmery lip gloss. Or so she says. To me, It looks like she let me sleep for 24 hours straight, made my eyes bigger, and somehow photoshopped my face. It blows me away, and I ask her to send the directions to my maids. She promises she will and I head to the dress station.
At the dress station, Haley, the designer, picks out a royal blue dress with an off shoulder ruffle sleeve, and a full skirt that comes down to my knees. She also puts on some pups of the same color as the dress. I get a picture and they whisk me off to my room.
