I only give you a hard time, because I can't go on and pretend like I haven't tried to forget this.

"And this is the private home that we have prepared for you Mr and Mrs Valderrama," Demi winced as the manager at the resort they were staying at guided them around their private suite. When her and Wilmer had made the reservations, they had jokingly said that they were married and going on their honeymoon so that they could receive a special discount. This trip was everything except for a honeymoon. It didn't even come close to that.

"It's beautiful," Demi complimented, because it really was. They had their own private beach, a private pool, and even though they were staying at the resort, the house was secluded. It was exactly what she needed after the long weeks that she had.

"And here's the honeymoon suite," Wilmer scratched the back of his neck as the man opened the double doors. The bed was large, a king size no doubt. The sheets were 100% Egyptian cotton. It was a four poster canopy bed with the drapes drawn so that they could see the actual bed. There were rose petals practically everywhere and unlit candles on every surface. Demi rubbed her arm and set her bag down.

"Well, I'll leave you two to it," the man shot them a friendly smiled and closed the double doors behind them.

"There's only one bedroom," Demi turned around to face Wilmer as her fingers grazed over the rose petals on the bed. She picked a few up with her fingers and squished them in the palm of her hand.

"What do you want me to do? Sleep in the hammock outside?" Wilmer asked as Demi lowered her head. Yeah that is what she wanted him to do. There was no way that she wanted to sleep in the same bed as him. Not when his hands had been all over her. Not when what she had proclaimed as hers had been inside of her. Not when his lips had been all over hers, kissing her the same way that he used to kiss Demi.

"You know what? Whatever. I don't care. I'll sleep outside if it makes you happy," Wilmer was beyond tired of the tension between them. He was sick of fighting with her and the words left unsaid between them. He knew what he did was wrong but he had made a mistake and she was making him regret it every single day.

"Demi! Hey it's always nice to see you on set. I see you did something different with your hair. You look good," one of Wilmer's costars who she couldn't for the life of her remember what his name was greeted her as she walked on set with lunch for her and Wilmer and two pizzas for the rest of the cast, because she wasn't sure what they liked, despite the countless amount of dinners that Wilmer had dragged her to with them.

"Yeah I just got it cut. I wanted to look more mature. Thank you!" She was on cloud nine. She was getting ready for her first world tour, a TCA performance, her singles were doing well, and her four year relationship with her man was thriving. Life couldn't get any better.

"No problem. Wilmer is in his dressing room but I'm sure you already knew that," he chuckled and gestured to the bags in Demi's hands from Wilmer's favorite Chinese place.

"Oh, I brought you guys pizzas! I got pepperoni and cheese because I'm not sure what everyone wanted," Demi handed the pizza boxes over to him and he smiled, thanking her before heading to the break room. Demi said hi to a few more of the crew and cast members before she made her way to Wilmer's dressing room. She opened the door and walked straight in to set the food and drinks down. She didn't see him in the room so she figured he would just be in the bathroom. She pulled her phone out of her purse and sat down on the couch against the far wall, waiting for him to come out and be surprised because she was supposed to be at rehearsal.

She heard the toilet flush in the bathroom and sat up a bit straighter, standing up to fix her hair in the vanity mirror. She tugged her leather jacket off and fixed his white v neck on her body. She had kind of forgotten to do her laundry again and just grabbed something of his.

"We have to wait a few minutes," was that Eiza in the bathroom? Didn't she have her own bathroom?

"What are we gonna do?" That was definitely Wilmer. Even though it was a Spanish show his accent was unmistakeable and it was his dressing room after all.

"This wasn't even supposed to happen," the faucet turned on for a few minutes before it cut off. Paper towel was ripped from the holder and thrown in the trash before the door to the bathroom opened and Wilmer and Eiza stepped out. Wilmer was the first to notice Demi sitting on the couch with a confused expression her face.

"Hi," Demi awkwardly greeted, her eyes shifting between the two of them, mentally deciphering what was going on. Why were they in the bathroom together?

"Hey Demi!" Eiza exclaimed a bit too happily, rushing over and practically squeezing the life out of the shorter woman. Demi giggled and hugged her back. Eiza was cool to hang out with when she actually felt like hanging out with her but today wasn't one of those days.

"So does everyone go to the bathroom together here?" Demi chuckled, trying to nonchalantly bring the topic up but that was impossible.

"Um..."

"Wilmer was just helping me. I haven't gotten my period in like two weeks and I was completely freaking out earlier. He found out and went to get me a few pregnancy tests and he stayed for moral support. I know it's a bit inappropriate, I'm sorry, I was just really scared," tears gathered in Eiza's eyes and Demi instantly frowned, feeling a bit guilty for thinking that anything was going on between them. Wilmer would never do that to her and Eiza had a boyfriend who she was head over heels in love with.

"Oh my god, did you check the tests? Are they positive?" Eiza shook her head, her tears falling in the process. She walked into the bathroom and Demi followed her, as did Wilmer. She looked down at the tests, the smiley faces taunting her as she looked into the mirror, locking eyes with Wilmer.

"They're positive."

It was freezing outside. Wilmer knew how cold it would be outside but when he agreed to sleep outside he didn't actually think that Demi would agree, but considering what he had done, he should've expected it. He glanced towards the house and shook his head, tucking the blankets under his chin and curling into himself as he tried to sleep. Sleeping outside was too weird and it felt too unsafe, even if they were on their own private property.

Demi tossed and turned and shifted in the bed, the rose petals drifting to the floor as she tried to get comfortable. The bed was comfortable but it was too big and too empty, and she just couldn't help but feel guilty for allowing Wilmer to sleep outside. He was pissing her off and she was pissing herself off because he had betrayed her in the worst way possible, yet she still felt bad for letting him sleep outside, and she knew she still loved him. She wouldn't have agreed to still going on this trip if she didn't.

"Ugh!" She threw her hands down, the petals jumping at her actions before floating back to the bed. She tossed the covers aside, hopping off of the bed and grabbing her silk robe. She wrapped herself in it, pushing open the patio doors and stepping out into the cool night. The sea breeze whipped her in the face as she made her way over to the hammock and tapped Wilmer on the shoulders. She knew him well enough to know that he wasn't sleeping.

"Come on," Demi said, helping him grab the blankets before he followed her inside. She pushed the canopy aside and dumped the blankets on the bed as he walked to the other side. He shot her a grateful smile and she simply nodded before climbing back into the bed. She turned away from him and looked out of the patio doors, curling up into a small ball and closing her eyes. Though they were on complete opposite sides of the bed, she could feel his warmth radiating from his body. And though she wanted to be mad at him and hate him, she allowed his mere presence to lure her to sleep.
