-Chapter 41-

(Insane fluffiness in here. Your welcome :3)

~Sky's POV~

We lay across the couch, the tv blaring some random anime, though we weren't paying attention. Ty was balanced on my stomach, laying right on top of me. His arms were curled under his chin, creating an arm rest so he could look into my eyes.

I grinned, reaching out and tucking back one of the stray pieces of hair from his face.

"I missed you..." I whispered, making him blush and look away as his face became a dark crimson color. I laughed softly, leaning over and kissing his forehead, while ruffling his hair with my finger (making sure not to touch his headphones).

"I was always here," he said slowly, readjusting his position so he was a little closer to me. "I just couldn't remember anything."

Suddenly, something dawned on me. I sat up quickly, causing him to gasp and tumble back, landing on the couch with a loud "OOF!". He sat up putting his headphones back on correctly and stretching his back.

"What was that?!" He snapped, but I could tell he wasn't actually angry with me. I reached out without answeringm grabbing his wrists and gently pulling him onto my lap. He let out a squeak of surprise, but didn't struggle when I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and kissed the top of his head.

"Do you remember anything from the time you didn't have your memory?" The question seemed to hit him hard, because his head darted up, eyes interlocking with my own and holding a strong gaze.

"Well...." He said slowly, turning his head around and staring at the tv, even though I don't think he was actually listening to what the characters were saying. "I can remember blips and pieces ; like the picnic, or Jason coming over and waking her up."

"What?"

"Nothing. But, no, not really. I can't remember much. That's why I was so pis-angry at him. I basically lost the first few months with my baby because I can't remember them."

"..." A comfortable silence fell apon us, other than the annoying tv blaring in the background. It lasted a few minutes, before I grabbed Ty by the waist and turned him around.

He let out another surprised squeak as we came face to face, his legs on either side of my waist, and sitting on my legs (not there, ya perverts). I leaned forward, capturing his lips in a quick, perfect kiss.

I watched with slanted eyes as his own shot open, full of surprise and confusion from the sudden action. Slowly, though, they slid shut, and he leaned forward, kissing back.

I took it as an invitation to raise my hand, placing it on the side of his head and tilting a little so I could get a better angle. His eyes stayed shut, and he leaned into my touch a little.

I grinned into the kiss. It's been so long since I kissed him, held him, or did anything romantic with him, really. It feels great to have him in my arms, and this time for good.

I've made a lot of promises in the past - all revolving one simple thing ; that I will protect Ty and make sure he doesn't get hurt.

I've learned, in time, that I can't always do that. There will be moments where I will be gone, or away, and things will happen to him.

We've both agreed that Herobrine is, in all probability, not dead. He'll be back to reek hell on Ty's world, just so that he can fuel his own selfish life. There's no avoiding it, and there's no ways around it.

However, I have made one final promise that I swear to live by, forever and always.

I can't stop them from getting Ty, but I will always bring him back home, safe and sound.

So with that thought, I pulled away from the kiss that, in all reality, lasted maybe three minutes, but seemed to go on for so much longer. I kept my hand glued to the side of his face, staring and grinning at his eyes, which were still filled with surprise, but a certain comfort was buried inside them.

"I love you..." I gently swept my thumb over his cheek, making a deeper blush spread across his face. I laughed at this, leaning forward and kissing his cheek slowly.

"I love you too..." He said softly, reaching up and placing a hand on my neck. "I'm sorry I forgot about it."

I grinned, pulling away, only to wrap my arms around him and pull him into a bone-crushing hug. He let out a small gasp, but then quickly curled his arms around my neck, buried his head in my shoulder.

I could feel his hot breaths on my shoulder, his finger curling through the hair on the back of my neck, and his heart beating quickly against my chest.

This was...peace.

-----------------------------------------------

"Daddy!!!!!!!!!" Hope cried, running at Ty with a record speed for those tiny legs. He laughed, kneeling down, and then swinging her around. She giggled, squealing with joy and pleasure.

He quickly put her down, then tilted up her chin. She laughed, gazing up at him while pulling at her dress in between her fingers.

"Do I look pretty?!" She giggled, swirling around in her pink dress. We laughed at the same time, and Ty nodded quickly. "Yes, sweetie, you look beautiful."

"Yay!" She giggled, waving her arms around as she began running around, swerving around the furniture with her hands outstretched.

"AIIIIRRRRPLLLAANNNNNEEEE!!!"

I laughed loudly, walking over to Ty and putting my arms around his waist. He leaned back, into my touch, while still stirring the bowl at a fast pace.

"Honestly," he said in a joking tone. "You would think Tyler is one of the fathers to that kid."

I laughed loudly, nodding in agreement. "Yeah," I laughed softly once more. "You really would." I glanced back at her, who had settled in front of the tv, and turned on BBC to Doctor Who.

"You know, she's a little young to be watching that...I mean, she's only seven."

Ty looked back, eyed the tv, then shrugged. "I don't mind. They barely swear and she enjoys it." I rolled my eyes at his answer.

"Your a terrible parent."

"You should be talking!"

"Papppppppppppaaa!" Came the cheary cry from the young child, and I looked down to see her yanking and pulling at my hand. I grinned, reaching down and scooping her up. She giggled wrapping her tiny hands around my neck.

"Ready to go, sweetie?" I asked, grinning from ear to ear.

"Yeah!" She whooped. "Papa's taking me taking me to the Daddy. Daughter Dance!!!!"

"Yep!" I grinned widely. "Let's go, sweet girl."
