JUST WANTED TO SAY THIS CHAPTER IS LIKE REALLY FRIGGING LONG ahhaa so hope you like ittt!!!!! <3 xD

The hours passed quickly, but in a fun way, and soon we saw Junior running towards us. “Suppertime, Justin!” He announced.

Selena, who was unfortunately on the losing team, looked relieved.

We picked up the bases and gathered up the bats and gloves. Justin grabbed the ball and threw it towards the house.

“Be careful,” Keith teased, “you might break a window.”

Justin grinned and I watched him as he shrugged. “A couple dollars won’t take me away from you,” he replied, singing a part of a song.

I grinned, too, recognizing the song. I started to sing the song in my mind as Justin sang out loud. He, Keith, and I started to laugh.

“What’s the joke?” asked Erica, confused.

“And it got the others so confused!” Justin added, singing another song.

I knew that song, too, and couldn’t help but continue to laugh. Justin looked over at me and I grinned at him. He stared at me for a second and then looked away.

Reaching the spot where the ball had landed, Justin bent to pick it up. He threw it into the air and jumped up to catch it. I glanced over and saw Selena was watching him. I swallowed. She was spoiling the fun!

We arrived at the house and right away, the sight on the porch made our mouths water.

Dad and Mr. Bieber were standing beside the barbeque, cooking hamburgers. Stepping up on the porch, I walked over to them.

“Go wash up; we’re almost done,” Dad told us.

We went into the house where Mrs. Bieber and Mom were making potato salad in the kitchen.

“Here they come,” Mrs. Bieber declared. “The hungry bears.”

We grinned and went down the hall to wash up. Returning, we each reached for a plate on the counter. The hotdogs were on the table, but the hamburgers were still cooking.

As I held my plate in my hand, I asked no one in particular, “Can I have a cheese burger?” I looked up.

        “Me, too,” Justin added.

I glanced at him and then turned to look around the room again.

Mom was the one who nodded. “OK, but you have to make it yourself,” she answered.

I set the plate down on the counter and went over to the fridge. I opened the door and looked inside. Spotting the cheese on the top shelf, I grabbed it and let the door shut by itself.

Justin looked over at the cheese block in my hand. “Is that marble?” He asked.

I looked up and smiled. “Yep,” I responded. “Do you want cheddar?” I asked, slipping a knife from the holder above the fridge. The cutting board in the drain board caught my attention and I walked over to get it. I looked back at Justin for his answer.

“Nope.” He grinned. “I don’t like cheddar that much,” he admitted.

I grinned. “Neither do I.” I told him.
