Kept A Secret

Chapter 2

Blair's POV
When the car stops I get out and walk to the door before knocking. After a few minutes the door opens and I see my Uncle Vic. I smile and he says "Blair why are you here?" I look down and he says "your mum passed didn't she." I nod and he gives me a hug before saying "I'm guessing your stuff and your brothers are in the car." I nod and he walks into the house and comes out with a luggage trolley. We put all the suitcases on it and he takes it up towards to house before walking back and picking a sleeping Ice up and carrying him to the house. I do the same with Siren and walk in to see Ice on a sofa. I put Siren down on the other one before going to my uncle Vic who is in the kitchen. He smiles and gives me another hug before I say "I know this will probably be a no but can I have a cigarette please." He raises his eyebrow and says "how long has it been." I smile and say "since before last time you visited." He nods and points to a draw before saying "just don't tell my brother I let you." I nod and walk into the back garden where I light it and take a long drag. After a few minutes I hear the door behind me open then close. I turn around to see uncle Vic walking towards me. He smiles and says "how have the twins been." I smile slightly and say "Ice has been fine but Siren has barely said a word." He nods and gives me another hug before I put the cigarette out and I put the butt in the bin. We go back into the house and I go straight to the living room to see Siren shaking slightly. I hug him and eventually he stops and starts cuddling in. Uncle Vic walks in and says "let's get them to the spare room. The rest of the guys are coming in an hour and they can be loud." I nod and pick Siren up before carrying him up the stairs to the spare room. I open the door to see three beds set up. I put Siren down on one then Uncle Vic walks in and puts Ice on another. We both go down and start moving the suitcases upstairs. When it's done I get the envelope out of my pocket and pass it to Uncle Vic before saying "I'm gonna sort our stuff out. Can you give this to my dad please?" He nods and leaves so I begin unpacking the suitcases.

When I am about to start the third I hear a knock at the front door and talking. I ignore it and continue unpacking. When I'm done I put the suitcases under the bed and there is a knock at the bedroom door. I open it to see Uncle Vic stood there. I let him in and he says "your dad wants to meet you." I nod then Siren starts shaking. I walk over and hug him and he stops. I lie him back down and Ice wakes up so I say "I'm going for 10 minuets. I will see you in a bit." He nods so I walk out with Uncle Vic. When we get to the bottom of the stairs I see two guys sat on the sofa but Uncle Vic takes me to the kitchen. I see one guy leaning against the counter and he is covered in tattoos. He looks over and sees us before walking over and he gives me a massive hug. I smile and hug him back then I hear a thud from upstairs. I quickly let go and run up the stairs to see Siren on the floor shaking. I run over and pick him up hugging him. Ice runs over and joins the hug. I look at the door to see Uncle Vic and my dad stood there. I smile and Ice looks up and yells "Uncle Vic," before running to him and giving him a hug. Dad looks at him before saying "you knew about them." Uncle Vic nods and says "when I used to disappear for a week each time I went and visited them." I smile and Siren wakes up so I pick him up and put him back on his bed. He looks at me and says "thank you," before smiling and giving me a hug. Uncle Vic looks at him and says "I think there's ice cream in the freezer. Wanna come look with us." He nods and gets up before running out with them. I chuckle and tidy up a bit before dad says "where's your mum then." I smile slightly and say "she died in hospital last night. Lung Cancer." He nods and says "who is the boys father. I would like to meet him." I shake my head and say "not possible. He got killed while serving in Afghanistan 2 years ago." He nods and says "is what my brother says true. About him visiting you." I nod and say "he used to come down every few months. He actually helped me a lot." He nods and says "how did he help you." I smile and say "I was addicted to alcohol and drugs. I also smoked and did graffiti everywhere. Uncle Vic helped me out off all of it. Apart from one." He nods and says "I'm guessing it was you that had one of my cigarettes." I nod then we both go downstairs. Dad pulls me to the living room before pointing to a guy with porcupine looking hair and he says "this is Jamie pronounced hi-me." I nod and wave then he points to a person with a hat on and says "that's Tony better known as Turtle." I nod and he gives an awkward wave. Ice and Siren then come running into the room jumping around. I grab both of them and push a point on their necks making them pass out. Everyone looks at me so I say "it happens a lot." I then pick Siren up and put him on the sofa and dad does the same with Ice.
