Possessed revenge

In his mind

Lloyd's POV

Right in front of us stood Kai, but it was not the same Kai. He looked just like Kai but with black hair, pale green skin and darker clothes. He opened his eyes and looked at us. His eyes were dark green with a small shade of red. And that smirk was something Kai could not do, at least not a smirk that terrifying. "Well, well, well, I thought he would put up more of a fight but I guess he was weak after the surprise." He said and I understood, Morro had possessed Kai. "MORRO! STOP POSSESSING HIM!" I shouted. "Oh! But I kinda like this body." Morro chuckled. We attacked him, but he knocked the others out one by one leaving only him and myself left. I was about to attack him with my sword when he said, "Lloyd you wouldn't want to hurt your little 'friend' now would you?" and I stopped dead in my tracks, he's right if I hurt him I'm going to hurt Kai too. I was knocked out of my thoughts when a strong wind smashed me against the wall, but before I fell unconscious I got a glimpse of Kai being normal and saying "I'm sorry."

I started to slowly wake up, I looked around the room I was in and notice that I was in a cage and my hands were chained to the bars. It was dark, then a light came on reviling Kai. His wrists were cuffed to some chains hanging from the ceiling and his ankles were chained to the floor. He was hanging inches over the floor, had a gag on his mouth and was unconscious. "KAI!" I shouted trying to wake him up but no response from Kai instead I heard a laugh coming from Kai's direction and I saw Morro coming up behind him. "Morro what have you done to him?!" He didn't respond. I could hear muffled mumbling coming from Kai, as he was waking up. He opened his eyes and looked at me, then Morro whispered in his ear but I still heard what he said, "I see you finally chose to come back to your master." Kai muffled and struggled to get free but he was still weak after what happened on the ship. Morro kicked Kai in the back and he stopped struggling. "Where are the others?" I asked. Morro looked at me and smirked, "Oh. Well, they will be joining us soon, but since you got the VIP ticket you get to see the whole thing." Morro walked back into the darkness and soon he came back with a dagger. I could see Kai starting to tear up as if he knew that Morro was behind him. Morro walked up to Kai and was right behind him, and with a swift motion he cut off the gag not caring if he cut Kai at the same time, which he did. Kai's scream echoed in my head, I started to tear up. Knowing he was in pain and I could not do anything about it, it broke me. Morro then started repeatedly stabbing Kai's right leg. Kai was screaming. "MORRO PLEASE STOP! LEAVE HIM ALONE! YOU WANTED REVENGE ON ME SO WHY ARE YOU HURTING HIM!? STOP!" I screamed at Morro and he stopped and looked at me, he then came closer to me and stared me right in the face, he then whispered, "don't you see, doing this to him is hurting you more then I could ever do with just you." I then realized it, Morro knew how I felt for Kai. I completely shattered knowing that it was in a way my fault this was happening to Kai. Morro saw the look on my face. "I see you finally understand," He laughed and walked back to Kai. Morro started to slice the dagger across Kai's chest over and over. Kai begged for him to stop but he didn't care. He then stabbed Kai in the left arm. Kai screamed. Morro left the dagger in Kai' arm as he walked to me. "you know it was quite fun to possess the hothead, all those memories, thoughts, feelings, dreams, and even nightmares." He laughed. "Did you know that one of his worst fears is being forgotten, replaced or hated by you and the ninjas, but the worst is the thought of you hating him. I looked at Kai who was looking at the floor while crying. Morro was about to say something when he was interrupted by a door breaking down. "MORRO!" I knew that it was Cole shouting. I saw the others coming towards us. Morro was taken off guard and was hit by a bubble of water. He disappeared in a puff of smoke. "KAI!" Nya shouted. Cole opened the cage and freed me, he then walked up to Kai and broke the chains on Kai's wrists and ankles. I caught Kai before he fell to the ground. He was pale and breathing heavily. "We need to get him to a hospital or something, quick!" we all rushed out, Cole was holding Kai, I would have carried him if only I could.

When we got to the hospital we shouted for a nurse or a doctor, a nurse came and as soon as she saw Kai she immediately called for doctors. They took Kai to intensive care, while we others waited in the lobby. I was broken, I didn't have any more tears to cry but I still cried. "Lloyd. are you okay?" Cole asked me. "No, I'm not. It's my fault." "what! no, it's not your fault." "but it is Cole Morro said it himself. The biggest reason why he was doing that to Kai was because I cared, because it hurt me, b...because I love him." I said the last part very quiet, but both Cole and the others still heard me. "you love him?" Jay asked. I looked at him. "yeah I do." Nya giggled, we all looked at her surprised. "why are you giggling?" I asked, Nya looked at me, she was still sad but she was smiling a little. "I knew it." "what you knew?" "of course I did. I've seen the way you look at him." I blushed. 

After a while, the others had fallen asleep, but I couldn't, not while Kai was hurt. A nurse came up to us, "excuse me but are you the ones who brought Kai Smith in?" I looked at her. "yes we are. is he okay?" she nodded, "yes he's stable, but his leg and arm are broken and he lost a lot of blood." "where is he." "he's in room 230, but he's asleep so please be quiet." I nodded and she walked off. I woke up Nya. "uuh. Lloyd, what is it?" "We can go and see Kai now." She rushed up from where she was sitting. "is he awake?" "no, not yet but we can go see him as long as we are quiet." We woke up the others and went to go see Kai. When we went inside we saw him sleeping peacefully on his bed. He had a lot of bandages and a cast on his arm and leg. He was breathing heavily. I walked up to him and when I looked at his handsome sleeping face I started crying. Cole saw me and pushed the others out of the room. "but Co-" Nya began but Cole stopped her, "leave them alone for a while. I looked at Kai. I knew he would not want me to cry so I tried to smile but I just couldn't. I closed my eyes, tighten my fists and just cried. "I'm so sorry, Kai I could have done something, It's my fault," I said. "Lloyd, stop crying it's not your fault," "but Kai I know it is, yo-" I then realized that someone had responded. I slowly opened my eyes and was met with two beautiful brown eyes and that handsome smile that I never got tired of. I was so shocked that I stopped crying. "that was better, wasn't Greenie?" Kai asked me, I didn't respond. I hugged him. "Kai I'm so sorry," "shh stop it it's not your fault." We stayed like that for a while until Kai pulled back and...
