The game begins

Nya's POV
"What! Why would we agree to a game like that!?" I shouted. Morro smirked, "I thought you would seeing as the hothead's life is on the line. But I guess you don't want to save him." "Of course we want to save him, but we don't have to play your game to find him!" Jay agreed with me. "Wait! Nya, Jay. I think it's our best option right now." I turned to Lloyd, "Lloyd how can you say that?" "Because Kai's life is on the line and as much as I hate to admit it, this is the safest option for us right now. If we don't take this opportunity then we might never find him. Morro is right, we have no idea on where Kai is." "Lloyd is right. If we don't do this then we have a small chance to find him." "No one asked for your opinion Zane!" "Jay that's enough!" "Sorry, Nya." "You should say sorry to Zane, not me." Jay sighed, "Sorry Zane." "It's okay, I know you're just stressed about everything." Morro laughed, "Wow what a show. But I kinda need an answer." Lloyd turned to me, I thought for a second but nodded. He turned to Morro, "Okay, we.....accept your deal." "Wonderful! Then I guess I'll have to give you the clue now. Water." Morro then disappeared. "Water, what kind of clue is that?" "I don't know, it can mean anything." "Ok, now we're in trouble if even Zane doesn't know then how are we supposed to save Kai." "Jay calm down I'm sure we'll figure it out, hopefully without asking Morro for more clues," I say that but I was still very worried that we would have to ask for more clues.

Kai's POV
I could hear Morro coming back. He stopped right in front of me. "You know I'm here don't you?" I nodded slowly. "Heh! Figures. I was visiting your little friends, and they agreed to my little game. But I didn't tell them everything about the game. For example, they think I won't do anything to you as long as they don't lose time or asks for another clue, but what they don't know is that this is my game and my rules. And I'm not just going to stand here looking at you, no we're going to have some fun just you and me." I gulped and shivered. "Aww! You don't have to be nervous, Hothead. You won't have to do much, just scream and try not to die, yet." He started laughing. I tried to break free but to no use. "You better stop struggling Hothead or things will only get more painful." Yeah, This was not going to be fun.

3 hours later

Lloyd's POV
It's been three hours and we haven't gotten any closer to finding Kai and since three hours have past Kai has gotten three cuts from Morro. I was sitting in my room crying into my pillow. I felt so bad for Kai, having his life hanging on strings that we control, while Morro is controlling our strings. The worst part is that we might need to have to ask Morro for another clue, and we all know what it would cost us, or more exact, what it would cost Kai. Ten minutes, Morro can do much pain in ten minutes. And Nya's right, He doesn't deserve this at all. Kai may have an ego, but he cares for others and always takes others needs over himself. At least if it's something important. I heard a knock on my door, "Lloyd can you come to the living room, we have something to discuss." It was Nya's voice, she sounded worried. I let go of my pillow and got up from my bed.

When I got to the living room and saw everyone's faces I knew what we were going to discuss. They all turned to me and Cole was about to say something but I cut him off, "You don't have to say anything, my answer is no." "But Lloyd, we can't solve the clue, we need another one." "Jay, Maybe you forgot what happens if we ask for more clues." "No I haven't, but we have no other choice right now." "No, we can do that to Kai." "Lloyd, none of us want Kai to get hurt but if we don't fund him then something worse will happen to him then ten minutes of torture." "But Zane, It's still not right." "I'm sorry Lloyd but it's our best option right now." "But how do we even contact Morro?" Cole asked. "You don't have to, cause I'm already here." Morro came out from the shadows. "Morro? How long have you been here?" "Not too long. But you wanted me here, let me guess, you need another clue." We all thought for a second but then Cole spoke up, "Yeah, we...need another clue." Morro smirked, "Well that's unfortunate for the hothead but I guess you don't care. The clue is, by the water." Morro then disappeared. "By the water, well that is more information then we got last time," Jay noted. "Yeah, so now we know he's somewhere by the water, that won't be too hard to find, right?" Cole said questioning our decision "I don't know. By the water probably means by the ocean and the ocean is very big, but you're right we have a better chance of finding Kai now." Zane sounded nervous. I could only think f Kai, and what Morro was going to do to him now that we asked for another clue. Then something clicked in my head, "Guys I think we should go to Ninjago city." They turned to me, "Why would we go to Ninjago city?" "I got a feeling that's where Kai is. Think about it, what if Morro is leading us to the wrong places just to get us to fail." Zane nodded, "Lloyd is right, Morro could be trying to trick us." "But Ninjago city is so big how will we ever be able to find them?" "Then we have to split up to cover more ground, Nya and I will take the docks, Cole and Zane take the center of the city and Jay you take the outskirts and if you need help then ask one of our friends. Everyone okay with that?" They all nodded, "Good, now let's go find our brother."
