It's been a couple months since the Doctor left Rose on Bad Wolf Bay yet again. At least she isn't alone. She has him. His face haunts her. A face that is just a copy and not the real thing.
Sure it feels like him, his smooth skin. Sure he talks and thinks like him all cheeky. Sure he remembers all their adventures but he never actually lived them. Everything he was just a big fat lie.
This isn't the Doctor she fell in love with. The one who was too cheap to buy her chips. The one who made her laugh during Christmas. The one who made her cry on Bad Wolf Bay the first time. He was different because he actually told her he loved her. Her Doctor never did.
"Rose you coming?" Doctor shouted from the new Tardis.
"Coming Doctor!" Rose grinned holding her bag. She never thought she'd go traveling again and here she was.
"Now Rose remember to call you know I get worried," Jackie reminded her.
"I will Mum," Rose said hugging her goodbye
"We'll be fine," Pete smiled.
"Take care of my Mum P-Dad," Rose catching herself almost saying Pete.
"Going on adventures without me like that's anything new," Mickey sighed.
"Oh c'mon were still friends," Rose giggled.
"Rose c'mon you've said your goodbyes," Doctor gestured in the doorway of the Tardis.
Rose waved goodbye and looked around one last time before entering the Tardis," Where we going Doctor?"
"Don't you like surprises?" the Doctor laughed moving the controls of the Tardis. Rose just grinned.
