I don't deserve you

Rose got through the clone Doctor and ran to the real one. She had already touched him before the clone Doctor could get to her.

"What's going on?" the real Doctor asked.

"I just wanted to talk to you Doctor....," Rose said looking down. The girl was still frozen. Wait girl? As Rose was closer she noticed how old that "girl" was.

"Rose I thought I left you with my clone and you were happy ever after married kinda thing," the real Doctor admitted.

"We aren't Doctor. I......miss you. Every time I look at his face I think of you Doctor. It's so unfair to him that I can't give him all of me Doctor. It's not the same without you," Rose confessed. The clone Doctor put his hand on Rose's shoulder.

"Rose you need to move on and be happy. I can't give all of me to you either. That's why I gave him to you as a birthday gift so you'd be happy," He said fixing his bow tie.

"I can see you moved on Doctor," Rose stared at the frozen women," Who is she?"

"Her name is River and she's my wife. I love her I do but she'll never be you," the real Doctor said looking right into Rose's hazel eyes.

Rose looked more and more at her when it hit her. She shared the golden hair and a name that started with R. It might've been a coincidence but the Doctor's words reassured her," Doctor it needs saying. It needs to come from your mouth. Then I'll never bother you again."

"Rose Tyler I love you. But Rose I don't deserve you. You too good for me. You need someone who will stick around," the real Doctor suggested putting his hands through her golden locks.

"That's all I needed Doctor. Till we meet again," Rose grinned. She grabbed the clone Doctor's hand and headed back to the Tardis.

"Till we meet again Rose Tyler," the real Doctor shouted going back into position.

As soon as they went back into the Tardis time was unfrozen. The real Doctor was in the same position. It was like they were never here.

"What now Rose?" the Doctor asked.

"More adventures of course," Rose grinned wiping away her tears. Listening to the real Doctor's words made her realize how much more she can gain instead of lose. With this Doctor by her side she'll never be lost or abandoned. With him she'll be loved and cherished. She did think of it that way before but seeing him as replacement was what it was. He's what she needs and what she always has needed. Someone who will be with her no matter what. Her Doctor can't do that even if he tried. A little pang in her heart still hurt for her Doctor. No matter what he'll always be her Doctor no matter how many times he regenerates. For now she has John Smith and that's all she needs.
