So for this preference we are going to pretend that the boys are Canadian hockey players :) This makes me happy as I love hockey and I'm Canadian :)
Hemmings:
Number 7, Luke Hemmings, forward, the Vancouver Canucks' newest starting first linesmen. Not to mention your husband of three years. He was the hottest rookie in the whole NHL. The fans and media attention was crazy. He'd brought the whole team to the final of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. All of Canada had their faces glued to the tv, hanging on every second of every game. You felt very lucky being able to sit on the bench with the team. The series between the Canucks and the Boston Bruins had been one sided with the Canucks leading it 3-0. The final game was something that had Luke stressed for days. The last 30 seconds had everyone biting their nails. It was 1-1 and Luke was on the bench after his hardest shift yet.
"Hemmo! Get out there and win this for us!" Coach yells.
Luke kisses your lips, grabs his helmet and jumps the bench into the game. The face-off starts, Luke wins the pucks and starts over the blue line. The defence look slightly scared as your 6'3 man skates at them. The goalie glares Luke down, but that doesn't stop Luke as he slap shots into the top corner of the net, then the buzzer goes off. They won!
The screams filling the stadium pumps the team up even more as they jump off the bench, gathering in the middle of the ice in a giant team hug. Coach lifts you over the board and steadies you as you both slowly and carefully waddle toward the team. Luke brakes away from his team and pulls you into his arms, kissing your face all over.
"We did it, baby! We won the Stanley Cup!" He smiles, kissing your lips. The confetti falling from the roof of the arena made this the most cliché yet perfect moment ever. The team skated around the ice, the Stanley Cup in their hands. Luke was given the Cup for an interview, his arm never leaving your waist.
"So, Luke what were your thoughts as you took that final shot?" The interviewer asked.
"I was actually think that my wife looked very beautiful on the bench today." Luke smiled, chuckling awkwardly, making you blush as the interviewer laughs.
You got to celebrate later ;) Let's just say nine months later you had a beautiful baby boy, who loved nothing more then watching his daddy play hockey.
Clifford:
Michael had just been drafted as the starting goalie for the Montreal Canadians. The first game had Michael pacing back and forth. His family, all his friends and your family were in the stands front row behind his net.
"Mikey, baby, shouldn't you start getting ready for the game? You're going to do amazing. I'm here and wearing my lucky necklace." You smiled walking into his changing room.
"The one I got you for our first anniversary?" He asks looking at his gear bag.
"The exact one." You smile grabbing his hand and pulling his face to your. "You're going to win this for your team, there's no way any puck is getting past you."
"Okay. I'm ready." He smiled.
"Good gear up. I'll see you soon, good luck! I love you!"
"Love you too, sweetie."
Michael played amazingly. The way his reflexes reacted when I puck was shot at him, wowed you every time. His mom smiled every time he stopped a shot. You couldn't be more proud.
When the game had finished you made your way to his change room, smiling as he gets interviewed. Feeling proud that you're man is amazing.
Michael loved to have you there every game.
Hood:
He was captain of the Canadian Olympic Men's Hockey Team! He got the honour of carrying the Canadian flag into the opening ceremonies. You also played hockey, you were the captain of the Women's Canadian Olympic hockey team.
Your phone was in your hand, recording every single moment of entering the opening ceremonies. The crowd was cheering super loud as Calum smiled wider, the flag in his belt.
He climbed up the steps to the stage and put the flag in its designated spot. walking back down to join you in the Canadian crowd.
You couldn't but laugh at how odd the Canadian outfit looked on your fiancé. The red sweater and white maple leafed pants stuck out on his slightly darker. His number (4) and last name were on the left sleeve of his sweater, as were yours. You grabbed his hands, and smiled as you walked off out of the arena and into your sleeping headquarters.
Calum walked you to your teams sleeping room. His smile told you, he was going to sneak out and see you later. He kissed your lips and left, as the girls from your team oo'ed and aww'ed.
"You two are the cutest! Let's see the ring!" Lilianne, your team-mate, giggled like a school girl, as you thrust your hand out showing your bling ring engagement ring.
"How romantic!" Emily laughed.
"Ladies! Practice time!" Your coach yelled.
Irwin:
He held his little boy up. The small baby skates barely touching the ice pond, Ash made himself. The NHL Calgary Flames player loved nothing more then hockey, (other than you and his baby boy). He'd spent the last 4 years of little Irwin's life, showing and teaching the little boy to play.
"Are you ready for daddy to let go? Don't worry, you won't hurt yourself if you fall, your gear will protect you." Ashton told his little boy.
"Yeah daddy. I can do it! I'll be able to play next year and ill be better then all the other boys." Your son smiles widely as his father lets him go.
He skates a few inches and falls on his bum. He giggles and gets back up. Gliding from one end to the other. Ashton skates over to you.
"Hello baby. Need some help?" He laughs as you slowly attempt to skate over to him.
Just as you're about to fall, he catches you, slightly laughing and kisses your forehead. Lounging in your husband's arms you watch your son as he gets better and better at skating.
"He's amazing! He's going to be in the NHL, just like his daddy. Can we have another or 3 others?" Ashton asks looking down into your eyes.
"Um. Maybe one for now, baby." You lightly smile as your son falls again.
